CCACAfter my visit to MCS
Hello to all. My name is Lisa Henderson, owner of Lisa's Feed & Pet Depot in Middleburg. After my visit to the office of My Clay Sun, I have decided it is in the best interest for myself and my business to respond to a blog dated 2/14/08 at 9:59 p.m. titled "T-Shirts and More". 1 - I adopted 20 animals from Clay County Animal Control on 10/9/07. The animals were delivered to me in a CCAC vehicle and were signed over to me by CCAC. The fowl were NOT given to me by Deputy Henderson. Please see attached for documentation. 2 - The horse I bought at public auction and paid $900 for was NOT the horse referenced in case # 10-2007-MM-003180-XXAX-MX file date 10/18/07. The Pubilc Auction was held at Clay County Animal Control, by Elrod Auctions. I purchased 2 horses from the auction, one for $200 and one for $900. For the record, the horse that I purchased for $900 was the highest selling horse ever at a Clay County Animal Control auction. Please see attached invoice for the public auction date of 5/24/07 for documentation.
Please Help MEEEEEEE!
PLEASE PLEASE someone help me! I'm drowning in CCAC dog doo doo! It's everywhere I turn! The server just can't hold any more of this stuff! If any more of it shows up I'm afraid the bits and bytes are going to overflow into the streets. We'll all be covered in it. We'll have to call out HAZMAT! The county will smell for at least 10 years. It'll take millions to clean up. Please guys if you all would update your profiles and accept contacts, you could take this 'off line' to email. Then the rest of us could go back to being the uninformed masses that we used to be before this world shattering subject took to the internet. Just A Reminder

Clay County Animal Control
Citizens of Clay County I know you want the truth just as I do. Once again I have taken the time to investigate and read the report from "OFFICE OF THE SHERIFF" Clay County, FL dated 2/5/08, 15 pages long. As a result of a long investigation and a great job on the part of the Clay County Sheriff's Office the conclusion of the report was very clear and it was, if you read the document, Connie Goon, Director of Animal Control Alterered County Documents to make the investigating officer appear to be guilty of misconduct. The Director of Animal Control was the only one found to have done anything wrong in the report, she altered county documents after the fact. They 'fell through the cracks'
When I saw the headline for this story in MCS I thought it was going to be a story about the 52 animals that were seized or relinquished (I'm still not sure which it was) and given away by CCAC. It was, sort of, but mostly it was about how an entire department fell through the cracks. The director makes over $63K and year and the manager makes over $42K a year plus whatever the employees make and the whole department fell through the cracks. The two people running the place have been there for 19 years and 17 years respectively. How the heck does a place that spends that much money and has that much experience fall through the cracks? That sounds more like a huge sink hole to me! |
