State Mandated Racism
My mother had eye surgery earlier this week, and I helped her fill out some required medical and insurance forms. On one of the forms was a question about race. The adminsitrator who was assisting us said that she was required by state law to answer the question. You know the one - white, black, Indian, Hispanic, etc. One "allowable" response was "No Reply", thankfully. Winn and I had an interesting conversation about race issues some months ago, and I think for society to move beyond race problems, one of the first things we need to do is to stop seperating ourselves by pointing out, and collecting information on, our racial differences. To me, that information is about as pertinent as how many original teeth you still have, or how big your ears are. And to think that the Florida legislature has taken the time to create a state law REQUIRING that that sort of information be collected. Disney bans teens for life, front page Fl. Time Union
Disney bans teens for life Here we go again; blacks break the rules and when punished the first thing that is said, it was because we are black. Racism will never end in this country, why? Because blacks keep pulling the race card every chance they get. Disney ask them to leave for loitering, did they listen NO! And on top of that the parents feed into there children’s bad behavior by pulling the race card, When they should be questioning why they didn’t leave when ask to. By the parents acting as they have all they are doing is reinforcing bad behavior. |
