Eat at Chili's, help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

From now through Sept. 30, going out to eat is an easy way to help kids with cancer.

Chili's Grill and Bar has partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the fourth annual in-restaurant Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign.

Eating at Chili's counts for more on Monday, Sept. 24, when they will donate 100% of its restaurant profits to St. Jude's. Last year's campaign raise a combined $5.2 million for the research-based hospital.

Other ways to help:

* Make a donation directly to St. Jude in restaurant and color a pepper
* Purchase customizable Create-a-Pepper t-shirts, dog tags or gift cards (St. Jude's will receive $1 from every $25 card purchased).
* Visit www.createapepper.com for more information and opportunities.

How did your restaurant "fare"?

Have you ever been enjoying a meal at a fine restaurant (or slopping your way through a burger and fries) and wondered what was happening behind the kitchen's swinging doors?

Well, we have compiled a list of all the restaurant violations from every establishment in Northeast Florida, which means that your favorite haunt is definitely listed. Just to whet your appetite- one Clay County eatery had 52 violations this year.

Ready to peek behind those doors?

Just drag that mouse of yours to the "News" link in the black menu bar at the top of the page and you'll see "Restaurant Violations" appear just underneath. Click on that and you'll be there!
