Community Art Events

The Clay Arts Guild is having their first show at Village Gallery & Framing. It begins with an opening reception on November 20th from 6-8pm and will be in the gallery through the end of December.

This is a very talented group of artists who's medium is clay. The work is varied, from functional to whimsical...something for everyone.

In addition there is artwork by local artists including Toni Charneco and Hercel Stallard. Also three Christmas trees with ornaments crafted by local artists including Jenelle Bultman Comiskey, Leneke, Sonya Cox, and Louise Cruz.

Come and join the fun!

I hope that this space will provide you with interesting insights into the "art happenings" in your community. 

 I must admit this format is overwhelming to my "right side" personality...but I am willing to give it a try in hopes more residents will take an active role in the visual arts and the support of "your" local artists.

I am the current President of the Art Guild of Orange Park, Inc. (www.artguildoforangepark.com) a 501c (3) non-profit organization with over 115 members.  I would probably be surprised by the number of you who have never heard of our group....now you will have the opportunity to learn about one of the more active community based groups in Clay County.  Our new website is full of details about our activities and upcoming opportunities for artists in our region.
