Citizens InitiativesVote Early, Vote Smart
Early voting starts October 20th in five locations and you can vote in any of these locations no matter where you live in Clay County. The tax collectors offices in Orange Park on Park Ave, Bear Run (Middleburg), and Keystone Heights; Fleming Island Library, and the SOE office in Green Cove Springs will be open from 8:30 - 4:30 Monday - Saturday until November 1st. If you vote early you could avoid any potential problems which could arise if you wait until November 4th, plus you would avoid the long lines. Also, vote YES on Clay County Charter amendments 1, 2 and 4 (or at least vote on them no matter what the ballot says). Excercise your right to vote on local issues and protect our 1st amendment rights to petition. Way over 20,000 people signed those petitions and our voices should be heard. CTLAC Needs Your Help - and SOON!!
It seems the Citizens for Term Limits & Accountability Committee’s (CTLAC) need for counsel – and soon – in order to protect our First Amendment rights has taken a back seat to other blogs. So, I’m bringing it to the forefront since only 7 days are remaining until the CTLAC must defend the right in court to have these amendments on November’s ballot for voters to choose Yes or No!. While all the other blog topics certainly have merit and need to be addressed, the deadline for helping the CTLAC is near.
