Wow, finally. Ever since Big Brother relented, momentarily, in allowing dog tracks to set up poker parlors I have been anticipating one in Orange Park. This would be terrific on several levels.

Since parimutuel wagering is in decline, the owner operators around the state have been doing what they can to subsidize the tracks. The poker parlors seem to be helping. I do know they are very popular in West Palm Beach and the one in St. Johns County seems to have received a clean bill of health. What with Sheriff Rutherford escalating his attacks on the elderly, both on the streets and in arcades, a safe environment is a necessity for senior citizens to enjoy a little fun.
