Buying parrotsDo not buy any bird/parrot until you read ALL about the parrot you choose
Tooo often, people see the beautiful parrot (I'm partial to macaws!) but don't realize the upkeep daily, socialization, food needs, space, company of people and not just caged up to be looked at. Personally, I've dealt with many types of parrots as people purchase the cute little bappy (baby parrot) unaware this cutie will grow up having inteliigence, feelings, and just like people have days they don't want to interact. Bites often occur due to lack of understanding "reading the signs" these magnificent parrots give. With any animal, be it bird, dog, cat, etc. ALWAYS, read, ask questions, do research, read, talk to owners, and again READ & LEARN all about any animal you decide to make that lifelong committment, including vet care, training, proper foods, etc. |
