Creative Writing Challenge
One of my new favorite writers, Meg Gardiner, will be making a huge entrance on the US literary scene later this year. She has five books to date in her Evan Delaney series and is about to launch a whole new series this June. Along with enjoying Meg's crime capers, she also keeps in close touch with her fans and hosts a blog of her own and posts all kinds of things for comment on it. This is a new one pointing to a really "novel" writing contest for fun. I am sure we have more than a few potential contestants. I am pasting a portion of that blog here. Run with it guys. Looking for great photos
Have you noticed the different pictures at the top right of the Web site? That spot is reserved for the best photography we receive at the Sun, the images that we feel illustrate how beautiful Clay County really is. The best part? The images that are shown are submitted by you. We are always accepting new pictures for the front page of our Web site and as we receive more, there will be a constant stream of changing photography, all showing the beauty of our county. No, the photographs shown there do not have to be strictly landscape pictures. Any particularly endearing snapshot of Clay life is perfect, although there are a few things to keep in mind if you want to see your picture on the main page.
