When I saw the headline for this story in MCS I thought it was going to be a story about the 52 animals that were seized or relinquished (I'm still not sure which it was) and given away by CCAC.

It was, sort of, but mostly it was about how an entire department fell through the cracks. The director makes over $63K and year and the manager makes over $42K a year plus whatever the employees make and the whole department fell through the cracks. The two people running the place have been there for 19 years and 17 years respectively. How the heck does a place that spends that much money and has that much experience fall through the cracks? That sounds more like a huge sink hole to me!
