Hello, I know this is supposed to be for football but I just wanted to send you a results link from the Bob Hans run at Ridgeview High school in Clay County this past Saturday. Nathan Buchanan from Keystone Heights was listed on the running 1st team a few months ago in the Gainseville Sun for his State track times. Nathan also is running Cross Country and placed third out of one hundred and seventy runners this past weekend, which the first and second placed were from Jacksonville Schools, Nathans time of 17:03.03 in the 5k was the fastest for a Clay County High School in the race. He is working on getting his time lower and is looking forward to districts. Keep an eye out for him . Thanks for your time.. Adam and Christy Buchanan Adam C. To win a game against a team like Nease it takes a total team effort. I nominate the entire Ridgeview Football Team. The offense scored in the first half to get ahead and the defense held Nease off the entire last half. Many times they were off the field less than 2 minutes. Go Ridgeview! The starting offensive line of the Ridgeview Panthers is probably one of the smallest in the state of Florida. To make matters worst, it has been dessimated by season ending injuries. The only constants have been starters AJ Rano and Jeff Hartung. On Thursday night against a bigger Nease defense, this small, overshadowed group of men played an outstanding game. News highlights will feature the play of star players Derek Hatcher, Tyler Bass , and Demario Kohn...but it was the gritty play of the offensive line that allowed those players to shine. Congratulations to Ridgeview on defeating Nease!
