You are too much.  In case you didn't know it, you have the same style as one of my favorite columnists, the late, great Mike Royko of CHICAGO, my kind of town, with a touch of Dave Barry.  I'm sure you'll hear from Lily on this one.  This was great.  Thanks a lot.

Maxie, I am a huge Dave Barry fan. I believe this is a column he wrote a number of years ago. I can also tell you from personal experience, the syndicate he writes for does not allow his work to be cut and pasted. I received a notice from Judi Smith regarding this. You are allowed to post links to his columns but not post the column itself. This probably has something to do with lawyers. (Most bad things in life involve lawyers.) I suspect you may get a notice too. I hate being the bearer of such news but you should be advised.

The email was sent to me by my sister in law that lives in Colorado, I should have known better, I wished when people sent me stuff they would include credit to the author. I just thought it was funny and wanted to share. As with most stuff you get from the internet, there was not any thing to suggest who had written it, but reading it back now I should have known, it was to funny to be the normal drivel that creeps around the emails. 

I remember the stuff Lily went through with the copy and paste biz.

For now, don't sweat the small stuff.  Just keep those cards, photos & letters rolling in to keep us rolling in the aisles.  If your go askew of the law, I'm sure someone will let you know.  If you need bail, I'm sure Lily will be the first to volunteer.  You have my word on it.  JATFUR.

I don't know, considering all of the photos you provide for our entertainment, just imagine what kind of stories you could tell us with pictures about your stink in the slammer. 

Actually, the notice you received to provide a link instead of a copy and paste may have come from a lawyer, Maxie, but it's one who specializes in accounting.

If you C&P, the website and Barry don't receive a penny, just the apparently hollow knowledge that they've entertained us all.  But they'll let you provide the link because that's gonna end up in hits, and the number of hits are what's used to determine advertising rates.

at the bottom is a disclaimer about not sending it out in emails, I quickly forwarded the link to the person that sent it to me.

This thing has been floating around a long time, course it takes me to c&p to the MCS blogasphere....Innorance is not a defense! 

I'll put it here for the Dave Barry officials to see; before Lily's previous illegal post where she shared Dave Barry humor, I had never heard of him.  So,
