Tom Platt loses BIG TIME!Did anyone else notice that Tom Platt once again only received apporoximately 30% of the vote...in his own district! Next up is Tom Platt number 2...Charles Nelson, write in candidate. This going to be a wild ride.

The unofficial vote count reflects that Wendell Davis won by 146 votes over Tom Platt. Even considering the pp voter turnout 146 votes is not a "Big Time" win but a narrow margin in my opinion.

Actually with PP voter turn out in Dist 1, approximately 65% of the voters said no to Mr. Platt as their Board of County Commissioner. After four years of campainging for the position it seems the people see Mr. Platt a little differently than the first time he ran for office. I wonder what happened?

clevercaper; 62% said no to Wendell Davis. So what is your point? Mike Heemer

The point is to gloat, and considering we're a week past the election and there is no demand for a recount from anyone it is now OLD NEWS. It's one thing to be happy your candidate won, but it's just petty for an adult in a forum where you have the opportunity to think before you speak to go "neener neener neeneer".

Aren't you the one that said Mr. Nelson's write-in candidacy was a Tom Platt ploy and that Mr. Nelson wasn't even going to campaign? If that is the case, what is going to be so wild about it?
BTW, if I was told correctly, the last time around Tom received more votes than CF did in D1.
