CONNECTING THE DOTS:

I believe that it is safe to say that the vast majority of intelligent and moral people are tired of Harry Shorstein, tired of the wanton hate speech and lies from Mike Taylor and will be very glad to see both of them gone. Everyone that is, except the elitist power mongers and the Frenzied Order of Punks (fop). Before those of us that have not yet voted head to our respective polling places, I wanted to connect a few more dots, just in case some of you have not connected them yet.

In the opinion of everyone I have talked to, Harry Shorstein is an arrogant, demeaning, power monger. He and Plotkin can say whatever they wish but the fact remains, Harry Shorstein did not have any complaints with Angela Corey or her performance and wrote her favorable evaluations, until she made known her intentions to run for State Attorney. Shortly after that is when Shorstein fired her. Jay Plotkin is a Shorstein crony and his hand picked successor, of course, he is going to endorse Plotkin and demean his opponent. Interestingly though, Sheriff John Rutherford, Sheriff Tommy Seagraves and Sheriff Rick Beseler all personally endorsed Plotkin’s opponent, Angela Corey.  It is common knowledge that Harry Shorstein and Scott Lancaster are bosom buddies. Harry Shorstein is still angry with Sheriff Beseler because he, first of all, ran against his crony Lancaster and even more upset because he gave him such a sound thrashing (but not as severe as the one he is about to give Mike Taylor). It is common knowledge that Shorstein and Hank Coxe share a very special relationship. Hank Coxe is Mike Taylor’s attorney. Hank Coxe was the attorney for the 17-year-old accused in the Neptune Beach Rape allegation that Harry Shorstein declined to prosecute. Hank Coxe’s law firm also represents Arthur Ivey. It is common knowledge that Arthur Ivey and Scott Lancaster are bosom buddies. Scott Lancaster stored Mike Taylor’s campaign signs in his barn in Green Cove Springs. Frank Spencer, a wealthy Clay County resident, is a Lancaster crony. Frank Spencer gave Mike Taylor a huge campaign kick off party and has been otherwise supportive of Taylor’s campaign.

Although I have never met Shorstein, I know that one of his assistants allowed an attorney from Coxe’s law firm to violate Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure for the assistant’s personal convenience, and probably for that attorney’s as well. I personally know a Clay County citizen who was subpoenaed to appear at Hank Cox’s law firm for a deposition in a criminal trial where the alleged crime occurred in Clay County. Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure mandate that anyone deposed in a criminal case will be deposed in their county of residence. I know this citizen was subpoenaed to appear in Duval County because I have a copy of the subpoena. When the person asked the Assistant State Attorney, why the deposition was being taken in Duval County, PARTICULARLY AT THE DEFENSE ATTORNEY’S OFFICE, contrary to the criminal procedure rules the attorney answered that it was for HIS CONVENIENCE. Oh well, gee whiz, never mind what the law requires, never mind that a representative of Hank Coxe’s office violated it with Harry Shorstein’s office fully aware of it, as long as it was for THEIR convenience, no one else matters. By the way, that deposition was for the Arthur Ivey case.

Now, let us look at the endorsement for Jay Plotkin by another Shorstein crony, Shauna Wright. I am sure most of you have seen her video endorsement of Plotkin, What no one bothers to say is that Shauna lives in Texas. I guess Plotkin must be desperate to send someone all the way to Texas to get an endorsement. Does that not seem strange to you folks? There are plenty of other local assistant state attorneys that Plotkin works with that could have done a video but for whatever reason, Plotkin sent someone all the way to Texas for a Shorstein crony’s endorsement. To me, it smells just a little bit that the only persons to do video endorsements were Shorstein and a Shorstein crony from out of state. Also, Shauna Wright contributed money to Mike Taylor's campaign.

So, as you can see, the dots form a nice neat little circle of cronyism and power mongering. Simply put, to elect Jay Plotkin would be the same as re-electing Harry Shorstein and to elect Mike Taylor would be like re-electing Scott Lancaster, only worse; instead of a Sheriff responsible to the citizens, we would have a UNION LACKEY in office. We ran Lancaster off once; we certainly do not need him back.

Do you all see a common thread here?

 When I first entered this fray, I issued a challenge and I made a pledge. I asked anyone to point out one single thing Sheriff Beseler has done to violate the integrity of his office. No one has. I asked anyone to give one good reason to support Mike Taylor and not Sheriff Beseler. No one has. I even vowed to not only support Mike Taylor but to encourage all the people that I know to do so as well if anyone could give me one single example of Sheriff Beseler violating the integrity of his office or one good reason to not support him. No one has. I issued challenge after challenge to Taylor and his minions. Mike Taylor said things were botched, yet cannot provide one example. People have said that Sheriff Beseler lied. Yet they cannot provide one single verifiable example. NOT EVEN ONE OF MY CHALLENGES HAS BEEN ANSWERED. 

There is a very simple explanation for that; the Taylor camp does not have anything to respond with except snide remarks. With the exception of pot shots from the Frenzied order of Punks and a few other Taylor sniper rats, no one has been able to refute a single point that I made nor have they been able to give one example of Sheriff Beseler compromising the integrity of his Office. The only thing they have done is throw ordure against the wall in hopes that something would stick. Well, something did stick but it only stuck on them and what stuck is the STENCH of what they threw against the wall that has splattered back on them. Just as before, I am sure that one of those buffoons will attempt to attack me by saying something that they think is smart or clever in an attempt to draw attention away from their lack of anything meaningful to say. I hope they do, it only serves to prove their true character and that between them, cannot come up with anything intelligent.  

That might have been a little harsh. Contrary to how it may appear on these blogs, I truly believe that if they all came together at the same place, at the same time and put all of their minds together, they could come up with at least one intelligent sentence. It may be nothing more than SEE MIKE, SEE MIKE LOSE or maybe something like, SEE THE fop, SEE THEM RUN AND HIDE, but at least that is a start.

For those of you going to Sheriff Beseler’s victory celebration, have a wonderful time. I will not be able to attend.

For those attending Mike Taylor’s, I am not exactly sure what they are going to call it, I got a peek at the menu and there are only two main course items, Corvus or Anserinae. However, you do have a choice of steamed, boiled or roasted. The height of the meal will be the desert. I understand Mike is importing Lou Mei. Lou Mei is a dish very similar to a very popular pie desert served down through the ages. Oh, I almost forgot, it is all you can eat.

For those of you who find the conditions at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff Beseler intolerable and have very plainly indicated in these blogs that you do not like being employed there, I saw in the list of activities that since Jeff, Nelson and Gary are the ones that lead Mike and has merry band to this point in their careers, they are making a professional resume writer available, free of charge.

Proudmana:  I have never attacked anyone for whom they support nor have I ever attacked someone for just expressing their opinions. In fact, I advocate supporting the candidate of your choice after making an informed decision and I have encouraged everyone since my first post to inform themselves with the facts. What I do attack is lies and those who tell them and I attack information put out as fact without something to back it up, such as your swine dribble. Go back and read my past posts. Unlike the “he said, she said” or the “I have heard” muck that you and those like you throw out, everything I have written is supported by verifiable facts.  You claim that you do not work at the SO yet your knowledge and articulation says otherwise. For someone that does not work there you seem to be very familiar with what goes on and write about it as if it is fact. So, either you do work there, you are attempting to disguise that fact and you are twisting the information to cast the Sheriff in a bad light or, you do not work there and are pronouncing what you write is fact when actually; you do not have any facts. A perfect example is the person that you alluded to, Staff Inspector Hendry. You said that, “One other issue I have is people making mega bucks when NO ONE in the S.O knows what they do.  I have no issue what so ever with this person and I really like what I have seen of him but just don't understand the job.” The majority of the people at the SO do know what his job is. If you do not work there, how would you have seen anything of him? You cannot be some citizen that he has responded to or you would know what his job is. Besides, if you do not work there, what understanding of his job do you need?  

No proudmama, I am not going to waste time attacking you. The way you write and the way you articulate your point speaks much louder than anything I could possibly say.

ProLeo: as usual, your rant toward KAS spotlights your low class, hate and anger. Here again, you cannot make an intelligent statement, all you can do is throw insults. Pro, again, look at the venom you are spewing. All you are doing is drawing attention to your lack of intelligence and allowing that seething anger to drive you down a path of self-destruction. What are you going to do Tuesday night once the election results are in and your boy loses? I do not know but I can tell you this, people are hypothesizing.

You and Proudmama should hook up, unless, of course, you are already hooked up.

One final comment to Mike Taylor:
