I want to tell you about Wendell Davis. Wendell is running for Clay County Commission, District 1 and needs your vote August 26th.

Wendell Davis is a consensus builder who has been active in our community for three decades as a teacher, an award-winning football coach and a business leader. He has held numerous leadership positions in the business community, local nonprofit organizations, and his church in Clay County.

Wendell is President of Watson Maintenance Services with divisions of Plumbing, Heating and Air, Electrical, and Home Improvement; and Regional Vice President of Watson’s Property Management and Rental Division where he oversees 25 property management offices and more than 4,500 rental properties and 150 employees.

Wendell is ready to go to work for Clay County to protect one of our most precious resources — the St. Johns River. Wendell Davis also has a Vision on how we can improve our roads, and end your commute time by bringing good-paying jobs to Clay County.

When he was growing up, Wendell learned that you get a day’s pay for a day’s work. His father, a carpenter, taught him the values of honesty, integrity and respect. As your next Clay County Commissioner for District 1, Wendell Davis will put those same values to work to make Clay County an even better place to live.
