fop Hooligans

Mike, if you cannot keep your mongrel attack dog in check you should muzzle him and put him on a leash. Either that or leave him in his cage. Do not leave him for long though, I understand that he is not house broken. Unless that is, you want to clean his mess up.

What I am speaking of folks is an incident that occurred recently. Mike Taylor and his Local 104 thugs know exactly about what I am writing. I will not go into any of the particulars here. I just know what happened and I know that a Mike Taylor supporter is out of control.

His behavior is way over the line Mike, even for your campaign. You turned him lose so you are responsible for him. You know what Mike, on second thought, do not muzzle or leash him. Leave his cage door wide open so he can roam freely and lift his leg on other voters. Oh, I just remembered, he does not lift his leg.  That is a wonderful idea Mike; leave him free to do even more damage to your campaign. Actually, he has already done just that so it may be too late to repair his damage.

This is not the only complaint I know of about this unruly mutt. I know that some of his neighbors are terrified of him because of his rabid behavior in supporting you. It is one thing to support a candidate and even doing it with passion, as I do, but to threaten and to terrorize neighbors in an attempt to persuade them is unbecoming, even to a campaign as indecent and tawdry as yours, Mike.

Not only has this cull threatened and terrorized people outside CCSO but I am in indirect contact with deputies that have complained that he has browbeat them, ON DUTY, until they relent and vow to support you.

What makes this even worse folks, this cur

IS IN A POSITION OF AUTHORITY AT THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE

and

HE IS ON THE EXECUTIVE BOARD of the local FOP lodge.

Seems like fear and intimidation is a common thread with Mike Taylor and his campaign.

I alluded earlier to the mistreatment of  local FOP lodge members at the hands of the UNION HOOLIGANS, of how these bullies ostracized and punished them for speaking up and going against the union. To refresh your memories, these members were not satisfied with their UNION representation and voiced their displeasure. For their efforts, the lodge ostracized them. Mind you, the UNION STRONG-ARMERS that treated them so poorly are supposed to be their FRATERNAL BROTHERS. Let me re-state, I do not have an axe to grind with the FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE or its FRATERNAL members and my comments are not directed at the Order or its fraternal members. Actually, it turns my stomach to even refer to these hooligans as FRATERNAL so, henceforth I will refer to them as exactly what they are, the Frenzied Order of Punks. (lower case fop)

Thankfully, I am now free to tell you exactly how the Frenzied Order of Punks treats their own if they get out of line.

The family of one of the members I am referring to owns a business. A very high-ranking member of Lodge 5-30, the DUVAL COUNTY FOP lodge, and a LABOR REPRESENTATIVE went to that family’s business and threatened to BOYCOTT them because he went against the UNION.

This despicable behavior is a direct reflection of you Mike and your campaign.

The last administration ruled the Clay County Sheriff’s Office by fear and intimidation. We do not need it again.

I am sure the members of the Clay County Sheriff's who are in fear of the animals of the F O P will vote the way they want  to vote when they go to vote.  It would very dangerous for them to say anything against Mike Taylor to the Mike Taylor supporters at this time.  WE only have eight more days to put up with Mike Taylor and his crap.

Eight more days and it will all be over and Taylor can go back to selling real estate.

What a shame there has been such divisions of team work in the agency over politics. Maybe soon the healing process can start and police work will become a familiar task at the agency. This old man has had a good time watching the political posturing of Sergeants and Lieutenants sucking up to Taylor hoping to get an appointment to a command staff position. Never sacrifice your integrity over politics you will be disappointed. A couple of guys have shunned me and that’s fine. This storm will soon pass and the waters will be smooth sailing again. Remember one thing we all have to depend on each other on the street to fight crime.

Read I hope after this election and all this nasty politics that you and all the others have witnessed first hand this time. Will get behind the CRC or a citizens group to change the way things are done. I hope everyone sees the importance of just the safety and security issues of the county that can be involved. I hope they all get behind the concept of bringing the Sheriff under the Charter. Then we can have an appointment of a real law enforcement professional who actually applies for a job based off qualifications.

You never hear of all this with the Fire Chief and they have a union too. You never see the signs or hear all the rhetoric and the game of may the best politician with the dirtiest tricks win. The county employees have a union too. Ever see them and this stuff happening.

Wouldn’t that be great. That’s just one of many benefits bringing them under the Charter can provide. There are many others. I for one cannot wait to see that happen.

Remember the hiring of a professional county manager it was a smooth operation. Until then we will be forced to have the mystery writer see how many (equivalent to the animal control blogs) they can write in one week.

Before this election and the access to myclaysun.com, I had no idea our Sheriff’s race could get so nasty.  If all of this turmoil is brought on by the Unions, can you get rid of a Union after they have been brought in?  They sound like the mafia.

What a miserable work day you all must have.

It saddens me.  I guess I still have that childlike attitude about law enforcement; that they are honorable, respectful, respectable and are there to protect me if I need them, serve as a role model of integrity and toughness with a healthy dose of kindness.

Woe is me when not enough people on this site will tell me the good about their candidate without telling me the evils about the other.  It can be done, I am sure of it.

Very proud of your candidate and you know his background to the tee, and I quote

"Then we can have an appointment of a real law enforcement professional who actually applies for a job based off qualifications."

straight from your above Blog.  Sounds like you might be changing Union ties also.

I have no candidate in this race. I have only stated that I will not vote for Beseler. I've not endorsed any candidate. I said I could be happy with Taylor or Newman.

I will add that I think this will be what the Chairman's position will turn out to be like if they vote  to keep that position. Could you imagine that bloodsport in Clay County.

Its sad when all the neighboring counties talk about Clay's dirty politics.

It is sad that every thing has turned out with all the mud slinging and just plain dirt that has been going on in this election.  But just stop and remember one thing. Years ago we had Jennings as our sheriff and he arrested his own son for a crime.  I am sure it hurt him to have to arrest his own son but he did ,  why because the kid broke the law.  Then we had Dalton Bray who was a very honest man with really no mud to sling on him.  Then we had Scott Lancaster who ran his election on family values.  In the end that was a big joke.  He ran a tight ship but his motto was do as I say not as I do.  Now just who do you think talked  Mike Taylor into running for sheriff?  and who do you think is in the back ground of Mike Taylor,  I will just say this,  in the beginning the signs were being stored in Scott Lancaster' barn so you figure that one out.  The F O P menbers and the union are not all bad guys but they were sucked in by all of Mike Taylors promises.  Anything they  wanted he would go up there and promise it to them.  I know this is true because I go to the meetings.  He has given up his job as Mr. Super cop as he claimed he was, also supervisor of the Jacksonville office,  he just gave it all up to be our sheriff on a chance,  cashed in all his retirement after living here in Clay County for just a few years.  That was not very smart for a man to do.  The mud was never like this in the past elections but the citizens of Clay County have a right to know the history of this man,  they deserve to know what his family is like, that includes his son's and daughters.  WE deserve to know if one of his kids gets in trouble how has he handled it.  That tells us what kind of morals, values and principle this person has.  I am glad the Folio article came out because there may be a lot of truth to it.  For you people who are not glad about the Folio article,   as I see it , you care nothing about the victims.  but I do beleive the people who were unhappy about the article are Taylor supporters, not most of the general public. WE only have seven more days and all this will be over and if we dont have another Taylor running the next time we probibly wont have all the mud slinging

Jennings did not arrest his son.  It was a distant relative who was arrested by a deputy.  His son, Michael, like the rest of the Murrhee family is very honorable person.  The family is  well respected in this county and the entire family has made many contributions to our county history.  I originally said on the Channel 4 debate it was Jennings son, but I was mistaken in my information.  I have personally spoken with Michael Murhee and apologized for my mistake. When mistakes are made they must be corrected by the person who makes them.  I still live by my philosophy that " the buck stops here".  I will never make excuses for my mistakes nor will I poit fingers at someone else to cast suspicion on them.
