Relief has finally arrived for all the present day tribulations.
Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, there is hope for all mankind and it is finally revealed today. At long last the NFL season is about to begin again. I realize that the games being played for the next few weeks will only be preseason "practice" games, but at least it is football. Ahhhh, football. I can start breathing again and enjoy life as God meant it to be enjoyed. I can vent my rage at the T.V. screen when a play is botched instead of keeping my rage stifled deep inside. My dog can relax instead of giving me a wide berth for fear of me taking a swift kick in his direction. My wife can again engage me in conversation instead of just receiving a blank stare. I feel my pulse racing just talking about watching football again. Ahhhhhh, Life is Good!

Was that a cool nip in the air I noticed this morning as I picked up the daily TU? Probably not - wishful thinking maybe. But it's not that far away. For my fellow football fans may I recommend the NFL Network. The occasional replay of last year's games are a passable fix. Not nearly enough Jags, but it is pro football. I'm going to try harder this year to watch more college football. I never have really been bitten by the college bug. But Tim Tebow and the Gators were fun to watch last year. What's up with Favre? Getting paid to stay retired? Now THAT'S a good agent. Looking forward to Garrard and Co. as they try to figure out the Colts and Patriots. Go Jags!!

Yea! Something almost universal to talk about. Next Saturday we get our first look at the Jags. I have NFL network and it almost satisfies my thirst for action. If you go to the game Saturday I will wearing the Maroon Hat (Big letters say "GDC" on the hat) out on the sidelines and/or end-zones. Be sure to say "Hey JD" if you see me. I have been having major FW since the end of the Super Bowl! JD Got a message and found I have to add the following to all my electronic sendings that might be considered electioneering even thought I am just being an NFL fan right now. (lol) Pd. Pol. Adv. I'm with you buddy. I would love to watch even Canadian football during off season. And why the clucks runnin the NFL never tried promoting the Europe league is beyond me.Have you ever took a look at that rugby team suppose to be in Jax? i have an idea it might be just as much fun
