Local sleezeThe current article in Folio Weekly is not a surprise to those who know the Taylor boys. Adam's violent and arrogant nature demonstrates a pattern since the age of 11. The hazing incident is also of a sexual nature, even though both parties involved were male. I predict that this will not be the last we hear of this young man and the legal system. Here we have someone running for sheriff, the head of law enforcement for Clay County, who cannot police his own family. The recent mail-out showed the same arrogance and disregard for others that we see in Mr. Taylor's children. Hmmm, it seems the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Just to make it clear. I am not campaigning for the other candidate. I just know I couldn't vote for this man, knowing the lengths he will go to to keep his son from being held accountable for his actions. I urge everyone to read the article and decide for yourself.

Welcome back, Grizelda. Your comments are appreciated--same thread, new thread or wherever. Your first hand knowledge, observations, and insights are always welcome. Submitted by winn1955 on Tue, 07/29/2008 - 6:14pm.
Pioneer By your post, I would have to figure you feel that I don’t appreciate Grizelda’s comments to be welcome on this site, or her first hand knowledge, observations, or insight. My post was not sarcasm, or meant to be critical of what was posted. After this morning’s five separate blogs posted by SunTzu I just figured it was pretty obvious as to why we should keep the same topic of a blog, or response to a blog on the same page. Not just I, but many have made these same comments in the past for the same infraction. I read, and respect all who post here. I only ask what others have asked in the past. It makes for a more concise read, and much easier for one to follow. Grizelda, if you have taken offence to my post; none was intended, and welcome back. I look forward to your future post, but please let’s keep some type of order on the same topic. It takes an unsatisfied person to make things satisfactory: Winn1955 Submitted by pioneer on Tue, 07/29/2008 - 6:37pm.
I don't think your comment was sarcasm at all, Winn. And by the way, welcome back to you, too!

It's been awhile! For those who haven't been here that long, and if memory serves me correctly, you have identified yourself in the blogs past as being a Teacher at FIHS. If I am correct, I think it would be very enlightening to the readers for you, and others like you who have first hand knowledge, or first hand opinions of what is going on. I have been hearing simply horrible things for close to a year now. It comes from someone I know and trust who is an active part of that school system and has no wish to participate in the blogs nor be the subject in them. Without her it would basically be hearsay for me to repeat here in the blogs so I haven't except to say once that I was told he would be the worst thing to happen to Clay County as Sheriff. I can't in all good conscience start saying what I've been told now that it's all coming out into public view, it's still hearsay. I would imagine you probably came and just wrote a blog without reading mine first which is probably the reason for two blogs on the same subject on top of one another. Like Winn I think it's better to try and keep conversations on a single subject on one thread. However, what is important is for people to share information and/or insight from all aspects if it's on one thread or we all have to jump back and forth, jumping is good exercise be it mental or physical. What is most important is that people can choose what is credible for themselves and act accordingly. If I'm correct, and you are a teacher, I hope you encourage any others who can lend any personal experiences to the story as well as continuing with your own contributions. It would also be interesting to hear sometime how you feel about the Candidates for Supt. Submitted by winn1955 on Tue, 07/29/2008 - 7:07pm.
Thanks Pioneer, today is Good. Sometimes it is so hard to get a feel of emotions by writing them. It is truly easy to misunderstand ones comment. I remember a while back we had a topic that would never end, it went on, and on my friend, oops there is a song in there somewhere. My bad, got off track, anyway the topic started many branches. It became very difficult to keep up with. Many had good comments that could, or should have been addressed, but just got over looked by the confusion of the many direction it took off too. Not to mention that the different post placed many other good topics out of the site of others. I don’t know about anyone else, but with me out of site, out of mind. Anyway that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. And today really is Good. I feel good and I even had my wife tell me I look good, I think she was just trying to cheer men up, I ain’t never looked good. People are talking about ...Here are the recent blog postings with the most comments. |

PLEASE Keep comments of the same topic under the original thread. It is just common curtsy to do so. And it keeps others who blog on different topics on the front page longer. Thank you for your support, and understanding in this matter
