No Need For This

As we babysit our five month old grandson, the mystery surrounding Christopher Barrios is unfolding.  Our hearts were chilled last Thursday when yet another child vanished like Jessica Lunsford and I knew all along Chris's fate was sealed when I read about the pervert that lived nearby. If this abomination is not addressed here and now in our nation (and let's begin with our state) by demanding the death penalty for all child predators without exception, then the blood of countless future victims will be on the hands of those elected to protect us from such heinous acts of terror.

I think a grass roots movement to direct new and lethal laws against these predators is way overdue and we all need to rid ourselves of the lenient judges, and prosecutors who would rather cut deals than diligently work to rid society of these mutant humans. Let us begin with a letter writing campaign to Governor Crist who has already demobnstrated his willingness to listen and act on his constiuency's desires. Then maybe we can spread it to the rest of the nation.
