What about these kittens CCAC would not rescue
Why did it take Animal Control 2 days to Answer a call about kittens at the Kmat at Blanding and Kingsley. Submitted by Angela on Mon, 07/14/2008 - 9:59pm.
I'm certain with all the rain we have had those little kittens have been washed down the drain and met their fate by now.

OR They finally climbed out of that drain the same way they climbed in and up it to get on the roof in the first place. They then ran off and lived happly ever after eating donunts and drinking coffee at the pound. Look People Instead of making statements like I heard this, I heard that, un-named Joe citizen called and told me this or that, Call and find out for yourself. My guess is that if you called and received a reasonable answer it wouldn’t be as dramatic and would take away from the all the fun I will take a wild guess at this assuming that it is even true to begin with. Sometimes If you stop and think logically for a moment we figure things out all by ourselves. Here goes: It wasn’t a priority. Cats love high places they climb trees, rooftops and everything else to be up high. My own cat climbs up my gutter system. Feral Cats live breed and thrive in large drain systems right under our noses. Because it was not a priority it took 2 days to arrive. Once making the assessment that the cats are traveling up and down the drain system it was decided to just back off and the cats will climb out the same way they went in rather then tearing down the drain system (private property) of Kmart and have all the hard working tax paying citizens have to buy Kmart a new drain. Cats climb up to roof tops, they climb up trees, If they can climb up it they can climb down it. When is the last time anyone has ever seen a cat carcass hanging in a tree or on a rooftop because they climbed up it could not get down and die. Now this is just my guess, I didn’t hear it, no one called me and told me this, it’s just what my logic and reason tells me is probably what actually happened. But my story is not as dramatic, or exciting, and it does not provide the opportunity to bash CCAC and Ms. Goon. The bottom line is if you really care and really want to know what went down go down to CCAC and ask. It’s that simple.

Newcomer, It seems pretty clear from your blog history that you have an agenda or a single focus in your use of this site. Spot/Don’s blog was removed yesterday and today you appear. newcomer Recent blog entries · What about these kittens CCAC would not rescue · CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL IS OUT OF CONTROL You both may be absolutely correct in all of your comments. The Director did not make herself look very good either by using two different names on this site to defend herself and her actions. None of your conversations have amounted to anything in regard to changing things at Animal Control. It appears from the County’s website that she still works there and is still in the office of Director. http://www.claycountygov.com/Departments/Enforcement/AC/AChome.htm What good is this doing? Public support maybe? I doubt if you are receiving much of that. Some of the people who comment that are so very passionate about their own positions lose credibility when they use similar words, like “out of control” and “do the right thing”, often while using the cap lock. They make similar errors, like not knowing the difference between there and their. Can’t you just come back when you can proudly tell us that something has changed? We don’t need to hear the same comments and history over and over again. Was the lawsuit ever settled? Was it withdrawn? Wouldn’t it be more productive to send your personal history and complaints to the proper officials employed by a County or State agency, someone who has the authority to actually help you? If I were on the opposing side of either one of you, I would be copying these blog entries and accusations so that I could use them in a court of law. Under those circumstances, I would think that Myclaysun would be compelled to reveal your true name and address. I understand that the kittens at Kmart are a new story but it still just presented you all with another opportunity to continue your barrage of complaints. Hit someone over the head enough times and they lose their hearing.

Peta in Northfolk Va is Investigating possible Cruelity to Animals Charges to CCAC
Submitted by TruthHurts on Thu, 07/17/2008 - 6:41am.
I think Peta has more important things to do then chase red herrings you create for them. There is NO case here and your wasting everyones time. Why did'nt you and the manager at Kmart tear up Kmarts private property to get that kitten (Not Kittens) out??? Oh yeah thats right they wanted the County to do it so that the taxpayers could pay for all the repairs. Newcomer,
Fill us in as to why. Maybe they were busy having coffee and donuts at the pound.
