Obama's campaign contribution sources - according to the NY Times!
If you think Wendell Davis' contributions are controversial, you ought to see where Obama's is coming from! Maureen Dowd wrote this……. Published: June 29, 2008 Go to Columnist Page A OBAMA'S TROUBLING INTERNET FUND RAISING Certainly the most interesting and potentially devastating phone call I have received during this election cycle came this week from one of the Obama's campaign internet geeks. These are the staffers who devised Obama's internet fund raising campaign which raised in the neighborhood of $200 million so far. That is more then twice the total funds raised by any candidate in history and this was all from the internet campaign. Submitted by ByronM on Tue, 07/08/2008 - 11:19pm.

As a reader of Maureen Dowd and the NYT, I thought it was weird that I never read this article. I looked through her archive and didn't see it. After a quick search, I found out that this article is bogus. There is so much false information floating around out there about all candidates and we have the right to know - but let's keep it real! A simple google search usually sniffs out the fakes pretty quickly. http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Obama_s_Troubling_Internet_Fund_Raising

Did I just say that? I don't see a lot of controversy in that list either. Mike Heemer Submitted by SoloVoce on Wed, 07/09/2008 - 6:53am.
That is a big burden off of my mind. For a minute, I thought I was slipping. I was wondering why I didn't see anything @ this on FOX or O'Reily. You know, blood in the water to a shark & all that. For a second, I thought that maybe THEY were slipping also. Thanks for clearing this up guys. I can go on living a somewhat normal life again. before you post such scathing articles about anyone - even John McCain!! It's easy to do some factchecking through www.snopes.com or www.digg.com. Or you can just Google the title. I fail to understand why people feel the need to circulate vicious emails and articles about anyone in the public eye without checking the facts as there are so many resources on the web to use. This happens every election year, but it seems to be worse this year for several reasons, and it is a long time 'til November. I have noticed that the campaign started taking a really nasty turn when Karl Rove joined the McCain campaign. I am not a huge fan of Obama, especially in light of his cave-in on the FISA issue of the telecoms, but it's too early to make a decision and in the meantime, please do some factchecking before publishing such articles.
