July 4th, 2008 at Moosehaven in OP
On July 4th, 2008 the Moosehaven Community held their 9th Annual "American Pie 4th of July" festival. Rides, games, food vendors and booths containing everything from face painting (for the kids) to free stress tests (for the adults). =) Next time I must wear sunscreen. I got so sunburn! But besides that, it was fun.
My photos of the days events can be seen at: And of the nights events (and fireworks) are at:

That'd be nice! But na, I'm not on staff. Submitted by read44 on Sat, 07/05/2008 - 5:22pm.
It will be nice for us if you pop in now and then to show us your work. You might have a lot in common with Jimmaxie, another blogger who seems to always have a camera in one hand. Some people just have a gift. Besides, once in a while we need a slap in the face, so to speak, in order to think about something besides politics.

Thanks read44! Yep, sounds like me, always having camera in hand. =) I've been a member here for a bit now, after talking with Jonathan some about the site. But am just now actually uploading and everything. I'll be sure to do it often now though! =) More of my work (photo wise), if interested, can be seen at: Or if you have a MySpace, at: Thanks for the welcome!

You have some great shots there. I love the fireworks images! We attended both the parade and fireworks, and they were wonderful. Great job Boy Scouts!

Thanks KC! I was there with my Nephew. He was a scout running one of the tents (a drink tent near the ticket booth, on the water). Not only did he help run the tent, but he roamed around asking if people would like to buy bead flags his troop made. By the time the parade came around, he was so tired! hehe So I agree, great job to all the scouts! Was a fun day! =D People are talking about ...Here are the recent blog postings with the most comments. |

Nice job MattFerrell. Thank you for sharing. I prefer the new avatar, the first one was a little scary.
