Pet Preview: Tanya the tortie
Tanya, a 9 week old female calico/tortie, is up for adoption through CatBugs Pet Rescue, 673-5813. Can you give her a reason to celebrate this holiday?
Pets are fostered in private homes and examined by a vet, vaccinated and altered before adoption. Animals are available for viewing & adoption at the Orange Park/West Jax PetSmart on Saturdays from noon-5 p.m. E-mail June at catbugno1@comcast.net or visit www.catbugs.petfinder.com. Can't adopt now? Pass this on to someone who can! Check out other pets up for adoption in Saturday's My Clay Sun! Isn't there a better use of this blog system? I'd rather see REAL items for sale by owners than yet another kitten for adoption. There has to be more than kittys for adoption for MCS to report on. As Bob Barker used to say "PLEASE have your pet spayed or nuetered!!!" Let's keep to the REAL news at hand and not on another stray animal!!!!

The greatest things about blogging is that you can pretty much say what ever you want...I think over the time that there has been a MCS.com we have pretty much used it to our on advantages, to get things off our chests. or to inform others on a situation that needs our attention like kittens or puppies, if you want REAL NEWS go to FOX.COM, or CNN. whatever,,, or if you like to see things for sale go to Craigslist.com, or post REAL news yourself. I don't know how much realer(?) it gets when we have a news flash about monkees on the loose..............

doc32; There are plenty of things for sale on the right side of the screen and there is a NEWS button for MCS. The blogs aren't a news service they're a discussion area. What have you got in mind for discussion? Or was that the extent of your contribution? Actually I'd rather see Chanel's adoption efforts than Don99977's rants about whatever it is he rants about. Mostly I just skip over his stuff. All rant no action. Mike Heemer

I can't quite get myself overly excited @ an interest, passionate or otherwise, that any blogger wishes to display. Is there a better way? Probably. But I'm not going to put a person behind the eight ball for posting something of interest to them that doesn't interest me. I'm sure that some people scroll past my entries when they are @ Bush, conservative Republicans or religion. That's their right. I'm sure that most of you have been to a family or neighborhood get together. The topics of conversation are wide & sometimes passionate. Some things we tune out because of non interest, the others we join in. That's exactly what these blogs are. I don't know @ any of you, but I'm willing to cut any person a bit of slack when their particular field of interest shows up on these pages. We all have a scroll feature & a go back feature. As a # of people have mentioned, we are all allowed to use them. But I would hate to see any person discouraged from contributing anything to the community just because some of us are not interested & we make that perfectly clear to them. But that's just me. I am uncle Rich & I approved this statement. JATFUR. Rich K Submitted by Sunflower on Sat, 07/05/2008 - 6:23pm.
As an animal lover and having rescued many felines in my time, I appeciate Chanel's efforts to find homes for the little critters. The only thing I DON'T like about her blogs and photos with the catchy headlines, is that it makes me want to adopt them all!! It is my hope however that others will feel the same and actually give a home to one or more of these sweeties. Tanya the tortie looks like she was cloned from my own tortie, Sophie, but we have promised her we will not bring any more strangers into the house. She is still not over the last one of almost 5 years ago! Much hissing still going on after all this time. Chanel, thanks for your efforts on behalf of the helpless creatures and to those of you who aren't interested, when you see Chanel's gorgeous avatar, just keep scrolling by (if you can). Judy B.
