What a Joy!

To see our fine country at work tonight at the Sheriff's Forum.  Most political hopefuls attended along with some of our finest current elected officials.  I say what a joy, b/c as a RB supporter, it was utterly amazing in how our Sherff proved all his points with facts discouraging the "Myths and Urban legends" being promoted by MT.  The Sheriff was clear, concise and to the point while MT made it very well known that he is a Policeman, congradulations, so are the other two candidates.  Having been a policeman is quite an accomplishment for someone running for Sheriff apparently, too bad MT gave no platform tonight, no great ideas.  Even Mr. Braveheart presented some ideas, while MT gave the audience a lecture on his life and a presentation of his falsehoods, now proven so.

One interesting idea by MT was a much smaller scale promotion of the move over law.  A law that protects our officers while they are doing their duty on the side of the road.  MT claims or infers that the people breaking this law are not the real criminals, even if the people are going over the speed limit thus breaking two laws.  MT says that the drug dealers accross the county and the robbers of lake asbury are the real criminals and that he would be pursuing them.  MT basically without realizing such said that he supports the death of officers by involuntary vehicular manslaughter committed by those who break the move over law, probably popular with the deputies in traffic.  MT also brought what seemed to be his only true paid supporters as their ignorant selves whooo hoooed for MT on every comment said.  While RB had his crowd and while RB proved MT's entire campaign into the toilet flushing away all the rumors and falsehoods presented thus far by MT.  MT seemed very arrogant tonight, like he was better than everyone, a qulaity in a man that all deputies surely would wish to work for.

There was much else said, suchas MT claim that RB never took a PAT test, yet another falsehood.  I will say i had fun tonight, but that's coming from a poly. sci. major.  It wasn't a real debate but it was a good debate and thank the good Lord in heaven we have a Sheriff willing to say what needs to be said popular or not.  Vote for Rick Beseler August 26th, b/c your only other choice with a shot only thinks he is a real policeman.
