Iran's deceptions regarding nuclear capabilities
Note the article in the Associated Press regarding Iran’s deceptions about nuclear arms, then read the commentary about the teachings of the Quo’ran in this matter. ASSOCIATED PRESS -updated 2 hours, 3 minutes ago VIENNA, Austria - "Iran may be withholding information needed to establish whether it tried to make nuclear arms, the International Atomic Energy Agency said Monday in an unusually strongly worded report. The tone of the language suggesting that Tehran continues to stonewall the agency — the U.N. nuclear monitor — revealed a glimpse of the frustration felt by agency investigators stymied in their attempts to gain full answers to suspicious aspects of Iran's past nuclear activities." COMMENTARY: The Muslim leaders in Iran are merely following the example set by their god Allah when it comes to deceiving the enemies of Iran. Read the following verses from the Quo’ran concerning deceiving their enemies: Intentionally misguiding those whom He pleases to – Surah XIV.4 (14:4) – “…Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.” Willfully misguiding some – Surah XVI.93 (16:93) – “If Allah so willed, he could make you all one People; but He leaves straying whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases: but ye shall certainly be called to account for all your actions.” Allah causes humans to err – Surah IV.143 (4:143) – “…Whom Allah leaves straying – never wilt thou find for him the Way.”

Is this the same crew that warned us of the weapons programs in Iraq? Apparently the program in Iraq was so sophisticated that it produced invisible weapons because we sure didn't find any even after we could search anyplace we wanted to at our leisure. Mike Heemer

GW, I just gotta find out, Are you kidding? I understand some doubts about an Obama candidacy since so little is really known about him on a National level, but are you serious about Mayan end of the world predictions, Iran's nuclear development etal? Come on, I have no love for Iran and I certainly don't like the idea that they will have nuclear weapons soon but do you really think they are that stupid to use them in an unprovoked attack against Israel? Aren't these the same fears uttered about India and Pakistan having nukes? Or Communist China? Or the old USSR? The scaremongering has been wrong since the Rosenbergs sold out the country in the 40s. The only thing missing in your blog is Nostradamus and he didn't have a very clear vison despite the conspriacy nuts claims to the contrary. However, if you are pulling our collective legs, "Right On"! I enjoy satire as much or more as the next blogger. It's sometimes hard to tell with just the written word. I know I have not been as clear when I resort to satire on this blog site. This is why I am not a professional writer, If you gotta 'splain it, you shouldn't do it. Especially in my case. Mike: Read "Saddam's Secrets," a book written by Iraqi Air Force Major General Georges Sada, a Christian Assyrian who was in Saddam's iinner circle. On pages 258 through 261, he tells of how Saddam had the weapons of mass destruction loaded aboard Iraqi aircraft and flown to Syria before, during and after the American invasion of Iraq. He describes the fifty-six sorties using commercial 747s and 727s rather than using military vehicles or aircraft. The booked was published in 2006 by Integrity Publishers. Needless to say, it did not fit the drive-by media's talking points about how Bush "lied" to the American people. There were WMD's..... Hope this helps! Lilyslore: Read the three-thousand + year history of the battles over Israel by the Persian empire (Iran today), the Babylonian empire (Iraq today), and the Assyrian empire (modern-day Syria). They have leveled the city-states of Jerusalem, hauled the Jews off to captivity numerous times over the millenia. Surely you don't think Ahmedinejad is joking about a continuation of this millenia-long history of destroying Israel? And Saddam Hussein rained SCUD missiles down on Israel's population centers during the first Gulf War for the sole purpose of destroying Israel. P.S. The U.S. wouldn't let Israel respond in kind to the bombing of their population centers. Read the history....... I have no doubt that all this is true and at some point Iwill read it. My point wasn't that I doubted they WANT to do what they threaten. It's more that they themselves will suffer complete annihilation if they launched at Israel. It seems to be common belief that Israel already has nuclear weapons. They probablty do. There is no doubt in my mind that should they detect a launch at them that they would not fail to retaliate immediately. Mix in our nuclear bomb laden submarines and "toast" would be a starting point. No, I do not believe there will ever be a nuclear strike from any of the nutball dirt holes in that region. But as always, vigilance pays. Lily's Lore "I don't ever want to be rescued And I don't ever want to be saved I got a feelin' that I'm gonna be alive forever Dancin' on the edge of a grave..." As I said above, Saddam had no reluctance to launch missiles (SCUD) on Israel. So, I don't know why Iran would have any reluctance either. And here's why: What the far left in this country fails to take into account is this: EVERY time the western democracies have held out the olive branch by promoting peace between us and our ally Israel on the one side, and the so-called Palestinians on the other hand (and the puppets of Syria and Iran in Hamas and the PLO), the Muslim Arabs have ALWAYS interpreted it as a sign of weakness. And every time we have - no exceptions to this either - gotten close to a peace treaty between Israel and its so-called "Palestinain" enemies, the terrorists have stepped up their murderous attacks so as to destroy each peace conference. Why? Because they INTERPRET peace efforts from us as a sign that we are weak and will do nothing to retaliate. Check your newspapers and news magazines for every major peace conference sponsored by the U.S. over the past thirty years, and you will find without exception that it was immediately followed by a stepped-up attack by Muslim Arab terrorists. In fact, during Jimmy Carter's pitiful presidency, it was the mere act of contacting moderates in the Khomeni regime to promote a peaceful relationship with the new regime that replaced the Shah that triggered the riots that led to the taking of American hostages for a year until Reagan took office. Back-water diplomacy from the incoming Reagan administration conveyed the message that the incoming Republican administration would deal with the Iranian theocracy in a tougher manner than the soft-spined Democrats was what, in part, caused the Iranians to release the hostages. And you can bet your sweet bippie that IF Barak O. gets elected and sponsors a "peace conference" it won't be any different! "Peace conferences" by every American president have been nothing more than a series of "photo opportunities" to show that any given president (democrat and republican alike) has done "something" to promote peace in the Middle East. Always to no useful end. Don't you love history?!?! No, I do not believe there will ever be a nuclear strike from any of the nutball dirt holes in that region. Mrs./Ms. lily, i must respectively disagree, if we were to let our guard down again. If they by which i mean the governments enabling terrorism can hi-jack our own planes and fly them into two trade centers, pilots or wanna be's whom were trained by us, then i would imagine they could make some form of nuclear strike. These governments do not wish us well, not to sound condescending. Peace talks have proved useless, negotiations for a better relationship will prove the same or just kick the can down the road, but that can will eventually hit us again, thus we must continue to deal with people who would rather have us dead. Which is what Bush has been doing for the past 7 years. However, if BO is elected i would expect a attack wthin four years.

Any candidate that is elected in November will be tested by the terrorists in some fashion within the first year of taking office. The question we must ask ourselves when we cast our ballot is "which candidate will take the necessary action to protect this country and will the terrorists be fearful enough to think twice about trying something more aggressive?" The terrorist supporting nations already know that the U.S. is capable of leveling their countries but which candidate is willing to do it if required? I don't mean to sound like a war monger but being ready to respond with force is always a possibility that must be considered. Compromise between two countries would always be best but does anybody really expect the terrorist factions to listen to our way of thinking since they zealously believe that they are acting with Allah's blessing? I am just a simple guy trying to make sense of stuff so I looked at the comparisons of good and bad times something I did notice is that during the great days of Clinton there was a republican senate and today during the apparent "terrible" days there is a democratic one. I do not know if this is significant however my understanding is that the senate has a lot of power in how we do things in the country otherwise why have them- is this way off base? If not, it appears the democrats are the problem with our country right now. Nancy Pelosi was sure happy to take control, well then own what you control is what I say, is this wrong or just plain elementary and I should just stick to what I know, which is not much I can tell you! ahhaha

The Dem. Congress also has a lower approval rating then Pres. Bush. The Bush haters never mention that when they point to Bush's low approval rating.

Diver, this point you make is a little trickier than simply a democrat versus republican controlled Congress. Keep in mind, the senate only passes legislation. The House of Representatives controls the purse strings. In 1994, the first time in 40 years the republicans got control of Congress, they were acting somewhat more fiscally responsible than the previous democrat controlled Congress. Remember the howls of anguish when Bill Clinton was forced to sign Welfare Reform and how Al Gore said he would roll that back? Fortunately Mr. Gore did not win. Unfortunately, in the past six years or so, the republicans have been doing their best to outspend and waste taxpayer money than the democrats. They have completely renounced everything the '94 Congress got elected on. Not to mention their lack of morals and corruption. Neither party has very much to brag about. Doesn't matter if it's John Murtha or Duke Cunningham. Party bias has nothing to do with the apparent reason for running for higher office seems to be merely greed. I also noted that Nancy Pelosi said there would be no more three day work weeks when she took the Speaker of the House role. But look now. We are right back to that. Frankly, I don't believe anything any politician has to say. You're better off doing that. Like Ronald Reagan stated "Trust, but verify". (Very few got the humor there.) ;>) Lily's Lore "I don't ever want to be rescued And I don't ever want to be saved I got a feelin' that I'm gonna be alive forever Dancin' on the edge of a grave..." Unfortunately, in the past six years or so, the republicans have been doing their best to outspend and waste taxpayer money than the democrats. They have completely renounced everything the '94 Congress got elected on. Absolutely correct. In 2002 and 2004, Bush had himself a GOP-controlled House and Senate to go with the White House. Spending and pork (even non-defense spending) went way up. Couple that kind of spending with the corruption/scandals of 2005 - 2006, plus the GOP's refusal to listen to the base on the criminal alien amnesty thing, and it's easy to see why they're no longer in power. Deep, deep harm has been done to the party, and the DC GOP elites have themselves to blame.

Lilly No I’m not kidding, do I know if it will happen that way, NO I don’t. I just find it peculiar that the Mayan calendar ends on that date, especially since the accuracy of it has been shown over thousands of years. As far as Notradumass goes, all I can say is most of his perditions are left to imagination of the reader.
Do I think Ahmadingajaud, or how ever you spell his name will fire Nukes at Israel. There is no doubt in my mind Iran would use them on Israel. I believe him when he says he will wipe Israel off the map.
You would have to be a fool not to. How else would he wipe Israel off the map, he can’t do it with conventional weapons, Israel and the U.S. would kick their asses before they got the job done. Based on his comment, and adamant march towards nuclear weapons The only logical conclusion you could draw from his comment would be a first strike with a nuclear weapon. In my opinion, if this were to happen, I see no reason for a counter nuclear attack from Israel, or the U.S. We have too many alternate weapons we could use to get the job done. You can not negotiate with anyone who represents a country that follows a strict interpretation of Islam because of one very important reason - as opposed to the rest of the world, they value death over life. They cant get there fast enough and if they can do it while taking a few or a large number of infidels(nonbelievers) with them, the better. If you are a history buff and can stand some of the most boring, but incredibly detailed explanations of the imperialistic nature of Islam, please pick up "Islamic Imperialism" by Efraim Karsh. It is tough to read but he doesnt miss a thing in going through the complete history of the region. It will give you a better appreciation for those who cringe at the thought of trying to "talk" to them. Kurt Musser

One of the most accurate calendars was the Myan calendar, and it ends on, December 21, 2012. Think about it; that is just enough time for Obama to bring the world to see the battle of Armageddon. Four more years until the end, just four years for Iran to develop their Nukes, just Four years for Iran to wipe Israel off of the globe. Could it be true? Are we ready for the change he will bring? Many other civilizations make reference to 2012, is this beginning of the end? Just one presidency away from The END?????
