I'm Back

I find it very funny that the news media has not picked up on the  ongoing saga between a long time employee Becky Knowles who made a deal with the Rickster to not prosecute her for embesseling hundreds and hundreds of dollar from the civil division at the Sheriff's Office. Why can this women get away with such a crime? If it were you or me, we'd be cuffed and stuffed faster that you can imagine. A grand jury investigation needs to be done to get to the bottom of this.

Oh get this, the Rickster has instructed his deputy to charge a child with a felony for hitting a duck across the back thus causing it to be put to sleep. But a FELONY?? Sounds like the Rickster is trying to cover his bases and letting the SAO make the decision and then take the heat for whatever the outcome maybe.

Be watching, more to come over the next days and months.

Truth, SOE says writing in Finder isn't going to work. If you want your vote for me to count you'll have to spell out Mike or Michael Heemer.

I understand your sentiment, but is it that you think Mr. Bradley is a better choice, or that a 'write-in' just can't win? My email is open and I'd love to hear your views and have a chance to answer any questions you might have for me.

Also saw where Finder has thrown his towel in the Chairman race. This is going to be an interesting election.

Cookie, I'm hoping you meant I've thrown my 'Hat' in the race. I've still got a tight grip on the towel. But isn't it great that a race can actually be interesting? Just think, this will give us something to talk about all the way through to November. What a show. And you have a ring side seat for the price of being a registered voter.

The great part of this is that you and the rest of the voters have the final say as to who gets to be the first (and maybe only) elected Chair of the Clay County Board of County Commissioners.

Think about it. Whoever gets the job, they didn't just walk in and take the seat without even being interviewed.   

Win or lose, that can only be a good thing for Clay County.

If I were you and in your position, I wouldn't be worried about any other county employee's problems but my own. Then again, I'm not you. I would only be worried about what the news media may choose to cover on myself. Then again, I'm not you.

Becky Knowles resigned rather than be fired for dereliction  of duty. She was performing personal work on a side business on county time, using her county computer, and ignoring her duties to keep Sheriff's office files up to date. There was no allegation of missing money.

Knowles was the subject of an internal investigation and the file is public record for anyone that would like to take the time to request a copy to review.

Cookie, your claims sound like many of the claims being filed against Connie Goon---only the Sheriff doesn't put up with those shenanigans and holds employees responsible.

You seem to know so much about the internal goings on at the Sheriffs Office! Could this be because you have family that works there? Or is it fact that your husband is getting this incorrect information from his buddies at the OPKC where he works off duty? I would suggest you sweep your own doorstep or clean out your own closets before you try and solve the problems at the Sheriffs Office.

Maybe this is another one of your "I'm gonna point the finger at everyone elses problems" then they won't see all the illegal things I am doing to taxpaying citizens.

By the way...HOW DID YOU GET THE HOUSE YOU ARE LIVING IN?
