Community Day of Caring Helps Clay Residents
MIDDLEBURG-May 3, 2008
Families in need throughout Clay County can come for assistance to The Salvation Army of Clay County at 2795 CR 220 in Middleburg, on Thursday, May 8 from 11:00AM until 6:00 PM.
With all services offered free, families can get haircuts, medical screening, HIV and pregnancy tests, dental help, pedicures, clothes, groceries, toiletries, hot meals and references from the myriad social services in the county. There will be fun giveaways and drawings to win bicycles.
From the VA to the County Health Department and from the Episcopal Children’s Services to the Quigley House, many representatives will be available to offer information, assistance and referrals to meet the needs of the families.
Hundreds of families are expected to come to this event again this spring. Shuttles will be bringing people from different areas of the county. For more information, call The Salvation Army of Clay County at 276-6677.
