Link to CTLAC Petition to rollback 7 Commissioners to 5

Here is the link for the CTLACs' Petition to reduce the number of Clay County Commissioners from 7 to 5.

This link was set up by my son-in-law on his own server so if at anytime the link does not appear to work please let me know.  Thanks Tim!!

For those of you in favor of this petition I suggest you put in into your setup so it appears at the end of each blog entry like your name does if you do such things.  This will make it easier for people to access if it appears on a regular basis until the deadline.

For those of you out there reading that are not registered you can still click on the link and go straight to the Petition.

Thanks for the link Marsha.

For me, I'm not sure whether I will vote yes or no on this. Right now I'm leaning toward keeping the 5+2 but there is a lot of time between now and November and things could come to light to change my opinion.

After all the recent debate with much more to come and having changed sides a couple of times already I do think it is at least a good idea to have the option.

My feeling is that anyone that is not rock solid sure that they want the 5+2 and will never change their mind ,should get a copy of the petition, sign it and mail it in.

If it makes it to the ballot, you have a choice to say yes or no. If it does not make it to the ballot that decission has already been made for you.

Finder, your last statement is a point we shouldn't lose in all the other debate.  Putting it on the ballot means we have a choice.  Nothing more.

I encourage you to sign the petition and help make sure will have that choice.  Between now and November there will be plenty of time to decide which choice is the right one for you to make.
