Signature PetitionsThink about this. When the petition was approved by the SOE, where do you think the approved copy goes to be looked at. The county attorney, who is probably against the petition. I've researched the counting of petition words and you can't use word count in Word to do it. So with the county attorney counting the words, don't you think he knew way back when they had more words than allowed. If he knew it so did the County Commissioners and no one said anything. Now you want to talk about being forthcoming. The attorney when he counted the words should of called Ms Kirkman and brought this to her attention. I think they were waiting for the deadline to pass and then point out that the petition isn't legal. I don't think there is any doubt that more than one official "screwed up " on this. I seriously doubt it was an honest mistake either. One thing is for sure the parties involved will not be held accountable. More reason to LOVE government in Clay
