DID YOU WATCH THE NIGHTLY NEWS TONIGHT?

I have been a Wal-Mart shopper for ever! And I have always considered this store some kind of American Tradition, a part of my home. Even when me and my family traveled to Argentina 3 years ago it was a pleasant surprise to find a Wal-Mart so far away from home.

However, after watching the nightly News on T.V, I feel betrayed and sorrowed. For whoever didn't watch the same news I did tonight, here it goes: A former Wal Mart employee who got disabled after a horrible accident with a semi truck, is being sue by Wal Mart because due to this accident she won a settlement from the company that owned the truck who caused the accident.

Wal-Mart states according to the news I heard, that because of the settlement they are entitled of that money due that they paid for the cost of the medical care the ex-employee received.

The woman suffered brain damage and she will never recovered and the husband is struggling to pay the medical bills due to the special permanent care she needs.

Are we talking about the same dear Wal-Mart? The same one that invites American families to spend their money on their products and the same company that advertises how much they care about middle class families? This lady was their employee! A little bit of compassion never hurt anyone.

We are talking about a company that moves millions of dollars! And that have the funds to pay the most expensive attorneys against this unfortunate middle class family struggling to pay bills, just like you and me.

Well. as much as I enjoy shopping in Wal-Mart, they just lost a customer and my family thinks exactly like me. If we do not protest for each other no one else will.

I do not agree with what they are doing with that poor family, it is enoughly hard for those poor kids to see their mother in a wheel chair for life and for that husband not to be able to share his life with his wife anymore; and on top of that they are being sue by a monster like Wal-Mart?

A company that not only moves millions of dollars (thanks to shoppers like you and me), but also, and so I have heard, is not own by Americans anymore but by some foreign Corporation from the Middle East.

Imagine that!
