Think Red Light Cameras don't Work?
Ran across an interesting article out of Dallas. They may work too good. http://www.nbc5i.com/traffic/15708057/detail.html?dl=mainclick Mike Heemer

Mike Appears like a double edged sword. Public safety, or less revenue and the added cost for camera operations. No cameras on the lights, or more cops on the street? It will still will cost, whichever is cheaper I have no idea. My gut makes me ask, what is the cost of a human life? If these cameras can save just one human life, is it not worht it? I must side with human life. Everything has a cost. it's matter of what do you want to pay for as a citizen. If my child was crossing that intersection and was killed, I would expect all Heck to be paid. Thats just my opinion, I could be wrong. You know, every time I read that the government wants to help us, I always cringe. They claim we need seatbelts to save our lives but I bet they have generated more revenue than lives saved. I burst out laughing at this article when they say they will turn them off on a rotating basis despite the fact it costs them $3,800 a month to run. What a bunch of phonies. Just like anything else that pops up, follow th emoney. There is nothing the government wants from us more than our money. I really, firmly believe that. And just watch out if they ever score the ultimate scam in passing that so called Fair Tax.
