More on abortions

And we are spending our time on this why?

This issue has already been settled by the Supreme Court.

Quit badgering her for your own personal gratification. She doesn't have to look at it but by God we're going to take that picture. For what purpose? Because if they happen to leave it where she can't help but see it that would be great.

The woman has already made probably one of the hardest decisions of her life. Leave her alone. This is cruel and unusual treatment and she gets to pay the bill for it.

This is nothing more than the sick desires of a group that for religious reasons thinks they should be able to control what she does. What's next, make them take a picture of the aborted fetus?

Mike,

Mike, Mike, Mike.  You sound a bit surprised at all of this.  Are you?  Sick desires?  Control hungry?  Obsessed with power?  Of course.  What the heck did you expect?  But you forgot a few things.

They lie through their teeth.  How?  Take just about any speech they make on the subject of abortion & you will find them telling their members that since Roe v Wade, abortion has been forced on the god fearing public.  Mind you, they have yet to provide example ONE of who had an abortion forced on them through this law, other than for special circumstances.  They have yet to have one of their own paraded as their poster child showing that the law forced it upon them.  And let's not miss the fact that they oh so conveniently forget to tell the public that Roe v Wade does nothing more than offer a choice.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh, & let's not forget that they think it perfectly reasonable that the more fanatic members of their group maim & commit murder against people connected with abortions in the name of their cause.

And I guess we shouldn't forget some of their group also takes the opportunity to blame abortion, the gays & lesbians of society for any disasters that strike. Once again, they don't produce example ONE, yet there are those all to willing to accept their venom.

Now if you think that that isn't pathetic enough, think of this.  They are the tip of the iceburg.  These certifiable whack jobs are the ones who get the publicity, not the millions of people of faith who quietly & legally, go about their daily lives not bothering anybody.  In many instances, just the opposite.  They volunteer their time, effort & money to teach, to help others in need and actually add positive value to the community.  As I said, pathetic.  JATFUR.

Rich;

Although I always say I'm a 'the glass is half empty' kind of guy for some reason I keep thinking that maybe it will be half full just once.

But reality always has a way of biting me in the butt and letting me know that my pessimistic bent is a healthy thing. It does keep me from being totally overwhelmed by the ignorance, arrogance and nastiness of the ultra-conservatives.

It always saddens me to find that the people you think you should be able to trust the most are the ones that you can trust the least. Whatever God they believe in has got to be pretty bent out of shape with their attitude and performance.

Oh well! Onward into the fray.
