Have you heard any of these rickdiculous statements? 

"I believe loyalty is more important than competence"  (I'll bet the woman that died during the swat callout in Oakleaf would have disagreed) 

"We don't have any gangs in Clay County" (What do you call MS-13, Crips, Bloods, Latin Kings, Dem Savage Boys, Floyd Circle Gangsters, E-Town and more)

"I won't bring a new command staff from the Jacksonville State Attorney's Office, there are plenty of experienced people already at the Sheriff's Office" (The where did the Magnificent Seven come from) 

"They call me the dragon slayer" (Who was the dragon)

"I can't pay you a raise until we have a contract, it would be illegal" (Oh, but it happened twice)

"Well okay, I will give you your raise, can we talk about that union thing, just you and me, no more staff or attorneys" (Right after the union was voted in for a second time in Clay County SO history, but short lived.  Now it's back to attorney's and court battles)

"You'll see, all law enforcement will soon see how brilliant I am" (Wow!)

"You can actually solve crime by writing more tickets" (Read the Middleburg Sub-Station Banner Tickets, Tickets and More Tickets)

"We don't need this right now, it's an election year" (Wow!)

"My people were not involved in the Arthur Ivey, Christy Fitzgerald investigation" (We all know who the Lieutenant was that came from the State Attorney's Office that worked on this case both as a SAO investigator and as a CCSO Lieutenant requiring all reports to be turned in to him by all CCSO detectives, then losing some of the most critical ones.  Wow!)

And the list goes on....
