GOP DEBATE

What did you think about the debate?  Which one best presented their platform?

Anytime one candidate mentions another candidates name it gives that person free publicity.  Keeping your name in the forefront is of utmost importance.  A candidate should NEVER do that.

I watched it, my girls even watched it.  Kelsie took no time in deciding she was a Democrat when she got close to 18 and that is fine with me.  Her Ma is a Republican who votes her own conscience not Party Platform, and I am confident she will think for herself like she was raised.  So, my middle child spent some time hurling insults at the tv, the 16yr old held onto her pillow as if her older Sister might actually launch something tangible.

I read, I listen, but alot of my opinions are based upon instinct as well.  I am not a Romney Fan and I heard nothing last night to change my mind.  Other the him I thought they all had some really great ideas.  Like has been suggested before if we could take all their best parts we would have a great President, providing they're telling you the truth, and that their truth doesn't change on a regular basis.

For the first round they at least conducted themselves with a little more civility then what the Press represented for the Democratic Debates.  Since I am really not feeling two of the three I didn't watch them myself.

I like McCains war on pork barrel spending provided he would actually do it.  He did alot of name dropping that became obvious.  I liked  some of Huckabee's views on the economy.  Even Ron Paul said a couple of things I agreed with, and Rudy, well I have a wrinkled eyebrow on him.  I lived in NY while he was Mayor, he did some good things, he did some bad things.  It's just always seemed like there is alot uncertain about him, friends, business ties.  We don't need another President who is armpit buddies with the wrong people.

It really did little to sway me one way or the other with a decision, and I am almost out of time.  I have no doubt though that when the time comes so will the awareness of the answer.
