I am truly sorry for the loss of your God Mother.  I had known her for 30 years or more.  I had the utmost respect for her.  Whenever things were on th low side, I'd run into her at the store or somewhere else and she'd always lift my spirits, not even knowing my problem.  That was her way.

When I heard the call go out, I knew it had to be her or JC.  When I got there I could not find a pulse.  I went to my car to get my AED and when I got there the rescue unit pulled up.  I left my unit there as theirs is more sophisticated.

I've never seen seven guys work harder to save someone.  They got her quickly into the ambulance and quickly left to the hospital.  Their efforts were admirable.

Last I heard they got a pulse at the hospital.  She seemed to be dong well.  I had not heard she had taken a turn for the worse until your blog.

Long will you think about her.  She was your light and the light of the family.  JC will need the family support to make it through the rough times ahead.  God be with you and your family.

God has called her home.

"God saw she was getting tired. And a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered "Come to me."

With tear filled eyes we watched her fight hard and fade away.  Although we loved her deeply, we could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating, two hands put to rest. God broke hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best"

May God comfort and keep you, may your memories uplift you and may love that is eternal give you strength.

I am so very sorry for your loss.
