In case you missed it - Voter ID cards - Why are Dems against?

For my liberal friends, and those who claim to be independent, heck - even for my conservative friends.

Why in the world would the Democrats be against requiring ID cards for voting?  Okay, hypothetical question.  We know why they are against it - so those in this country as 'guests' can vote.  I just can't imagine how in good conscience the Dems can actually stand up and say they are against requiring photo IDs for voting...

Thoughts?

Here are the first few sentences of the story.

DEAD PEOPLE VOTING

Few things make more sense than requiring people to show photo identification before voting.

How else are states going to make certain people don't vote more than once?

Yet, the Supreme Court has been asked to declare a law in Indiana unconstitutional.

The plaintiffs, according to The Associated Press, see the voter ID rules as a poll tax aimed at keeping likely Democrats from voting.
