Angela,You are correct that we are ill and underserved by the State Attorneys Office, unless there is plotical gain for it's members. Can anyone say Sheriff?

I must say what a disappointment. The Sheriff appears before the board and states he handles nickels like manhole covers. Well, It looks like the dollars are slipping out the door with his blessing. However, I appreciate him looking out for the nickels but maybe he needs to investigate the dollars as well. They add up faster.

As his 2005 accomplishments he put a person in charge of investigating animal abuse cases:

Formed new units: Special Victims Unit, Street Crimes Unit, White Collar Crimes Unit, Forfeiture/Police Legal Unit, Drug Interdiction Unit, Public Service Aides, expanded K-9 Unit, and Animal Abuse Investigations.

Then this is what we get for those taxdollars dedicated to that specific responsiblity of the person in charge.

I don't think CCAC just decided upon themselves to take those animals seized in a court case.

What's the chances anyone would get the Sheriff to investigated this mess that he's involved in?

His Internal Affairs guy is a State Attorney Investigator. So, I am sure they are going to get right on this case. Right

No, we need a clean sweep of the County when election time comes.

Some people just toss that integrity word around too much. Integrity is actions not just words. Either you have them or you don't. I don't think they sell it at Walmart.

In Clay County Mr. Shorstein seems to fall short on Grand Jury Reports. However, that's not true in other places.
