A story to ponder is it real, or fiction Corporate Headquarters
Mr. John Doe This is a letter too register a formal complaint against one of your store managers  The following is an outline of the phone conversations, and the facts as they happened. Some of these Facts may sound redundant, but they are a conversation between two of your employees, and me.

From Thursday Nov 29 thru Saturday December 1st I had to take, “my wife” to the hospital three consecutive days, she was in intense pain and we didn’t know why.  On Saturday the 1st, my wife was still in the hospital. I called her work that afternoon @ about 3:30 pm, as she was scheduled to work the following day. I told the person in charge, “stated by” Jean; that my wife was in the Hospital and wouldn’t be to work on Sunday the 2nd, I had Advised Jean that at the time we didn’t know what the problem was. My wife was released from the hospital late evening,    After a Diagnoses of a very severe Infection.

My wife was sent home with strong antibiotics and pain meds my wife was sedated and slept most of the day. The 2nd   That afternoon Jane called and asks if my wife would be to work the next day.  I advised Jane that my wife was home from the hospital, and that she has a very bad infection, she was on antibiotics and she was sedated with pain meds to keep her comfortable and couldn’t speak for herself.  I also advised Jane that My wife had a follow up appointment on Tuesday and if the Doctor released her she would be back to work on Wednesday The 5th  I also advised Jane that when I found out Tuesday the 4th what her condition was I would call as soon as possible and advise on my wife’s condition.

Jane advised me to call Ms Manager and tell her. I left two messages on Ms Manager cell phone, and home phone to call me and I would advise her of my wife’s condition that was @ 1:30 pm.  @ 2:00pm Jane called back and told me that Ms Manager called her and told her too tell my wife that she had the rest of the week off and has to have the documentation from  the doctor of exactly what  her illness is.

I told Jane that my wife would give her a Doctors note stating that she could not work and that Ms Manager did not need an explanation of what my wife’s Illness was. Jane’s reply was hey, I’m just the messenger, and I will have to tell Ms Manager that. I stated Ok..   @ Approximately 3:00 pm Ms Manager Called. I told her the same thing that I told Jane. I told her that my wife is home from the hospital and she has a very bad infection and was being treated with antibiotics and was sedated with pain meds to keep her comfortable.

Ms Manager asks me what her infection was, and my reply was that it was irrelevant and that we would rather not divulge her illness. This made Ms Manager angry you cold tell by the demeanor and voice.

After I made the above statements, Ms Manager’s reply was, that I was not one of her employees, and that I had no right to be speaking for my wife, your wife needs to be the one I am talking to Then she stated that my wife needs to get it together and she was giving her the whole following week off. From the tone of her voice you could tell it was a reprimand for not working.

She also stated that I should tell my wife that when ever she gets it together too call her and she would see about putting her back to work, and then hung the phone up on me.     As I stated earlier I told Ms Manager that as soon as I found out what my wife’s condition was after her Doctors appointment I would advise her of it as soon as I could. I called the store, and Ms Manager answered, I introduced myself, and told her that my wife was on complete bed rest and was to remain there for a week, at which time she was to have a follow up appointment on Tuesday the 11th, , before I could say anything else she hung the phone up on me, again.

Ms Manager called back about fifteen minute later and rudely said write this number down. I replied that I was at the pharmacy and I would have to find a pen, could you hold on please.

On my return to the phone, she gave me a number and told me since my wife was going to miss three consecutive sick days she had to call this number and file for some type of medical leave. She then stated that I could not make this call it had to be her, and if my wife didn’t call she would terminate her employment, and then hung up on me, again.

Did this really happen?

If it did how should the story end?

Would anyone like to put an ending on this?  Of course just for fun!
