Quigley House is looking for volunteers as it moves into a very busy time of advocacy during the month of October, also designated National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Event: Volunteer Fair on the Green
Where: University of North Florida
Info: Depart Orange Park approx. 9:00 a.m. End at 1:00p.m. One to two volunteers requested to assist our Child Advocate Chan (say Shawn) Rigsby with the Quigley House volunteer information table at this event. Transportation and lunch provided. Contact Chan Rigsby directly at 904-284-0340, ext. 22.
THURSDAY, OCT. 11 and FRIDAY, OCT. 12
Event: Project Safe Kids
Where: Garber Auto Mall, Green Cove Springs
When: 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday (or portions thereof); 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday (or portions thereof)
Info: If you like kids, here’s your chance. This event will be held inside the Garber Auto Mall in Green Cove Springs both days. Volunteers needed to work table providing child and adult safety information and Quigley House brochures. Several agencies will be there fingerprinting kids, providing games, etc. One or two volunteers are needed for a minimum of 2 hours at beginning of each day.
