Lots of animals eat out of the trash. Not all of them face being crushed as a result!
This 4-month-old Black Lab girl was found rummaging for dinner in the trash compactor at the Bradford County garbage dump. A good samaritan found her just in the nick of time and rescued her from certain death.
This pup, being called Trish, is now safe in foster care and is described as a “very sweet, gentle puppy.” Trish already has her first set of puppy shots behind her and will be spayed prior to adoption. Trish will make a great addition to the family.
For information on adopting Trish, call Bradford County P.A.W.S. at (904) 334-7319 or (904) 673-5813. You can also visit their Web site, www.bcpaws.org, to view other pets for adoption. This group primarily rescues animals from Bradford County Animal Control that are scheduled for euthanasia and fosters them until they are adopted.
