This is the first blog discussion site that I have ever followed.  Sometimes the frequent participants may go over my head a bit because I find myself saying in my head, “Say what?”I find it very interesting and informative and I care about the subject of Clay County government.  Decisions made by the Commissioners have a direct impact on my daily life.  What they do is also important because I do my homework before I spend my money, especially on big ticket items.  I would appreciate it if the money that I am required to contribute in taxes is used wisely.  After all, it was hard-earned and was not given to me.

One request of the frequent bloggers...After reading the blogs for a few months now, you are beginning to make by head swim from following the different branch-offs of the conversations.  If I had a gavel I would tap it and tell you to focus and finish one project before you move on to another.  I am aware that conversations and direction is varied and we all get distracted but...I need you to finish your good work in composing the lists you have started before you go on to another subject.  For example, have you all agreed on your list of required chairman/commissioner assets, the list of the top priorities for the County to focus on, the possible solutions to growth management or what would make public schools excel?  You are doing a good job of communicating and compromising.  People, I just need some closure.   

P.S.  I am encouraged by the young people adding to this site.  Oh, but I digress; focus, focus.
