Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. By learning to formulate and convey your ideas, you open a new world of possibilities. You will be more persuasive and confident when giving presentations and you will improve your one-on-one dealings with others.  You will find out why intelligent, business-savvy people end up boring their audiences? They fail to recognize that public speaking is an acquired skill that improves with practice and honest feedback. Speaking for 20 minutes before the right group of people can do more for your career than spending a year behind a desk!   Many business-savvy people, politician and club leaders make these mistakes; Starting with a whimper, Attempting to imitate other speakers, Failing to use relaxation techniques, Reading a speech word for word, Using someone else’s stories, Speaking without passion, Speaking without passion, Ending a speech with questions and answers, Failing to prepare and failing to recognize that speaking is an acquired skill.
