Girl Scout Cadette Troop 492 will be collecting clean, reusable coats and jackets to assist the One Warm Coat community service effort at the Southern Women’s Show at the Prime Osborne in Downtown Jacksonville October 16 – 19, 2008.  Coats of all shapes sizes are welcome with children's sizes being the most needed and receive $1 off regular admission with the donation of a coat.   

One Warm Coat is dedicated to distributing reusable coats, free of charge, directly to local children and adults.  All donated coats will be given to local Jacksonville organizations such as Labor Ready, The Clara White Mission, The Trinity Rescue Mission and I.M. The Pals & Paws Agility Dog Club is having an AKC Agility Trial at the Clay County Fairgrounds on Friday October 31, 2008 through Sunday November 2, 2008.  The trial will begin at 9AM on Friday and 8AM on Saturday and Sunday and will run until at least 3PM on all days.  A food vendor will be present.  Our website is www.palsandpawsagility.com.  There is no charge to watch.  Well behaved dogs over 6 months of age are welcome but must be on leash.
