Jacksonville and Orange Park, Florida will host a group of International students arriving on July 2, 2008 and departing July 29, 2008. The students are coming to our area to improve their English language skills and to experience American family life. EF Educational Homestay Program is looking for short-term host families to welcome these students into their homes. Host families are being asked to provide a bed for the student to sleep in, transportation to and from a designated bus stop in your area, meals and a warm, loving environment for the student to spend their evenings and weekends. During the week, students will attend English classes each morning and field trips each afternoon. The program is supported by round the clock staff and students are fully insured. Many of these students have dreamed their entire life of coming to the United States. They have studied English in school and are eager to spend their summer learning first hand about our family life, culture and community. High School age students of Host Families may earn 60 community service hours toward graduation & scholarship requirements based on your schools acceptance.

We are having our community Easter Egg Hunt & Antique Car Show together this year! The egg hunt is FREE for children of all ages and spectators for the car show are FREE.
