Grandpa McCain for President

Grandpa McCain for President Well it’s an election year and this will be my first ever unindorsement post. I am officially not backing John McCain. Grandpa McCain as everyone knows is the republican nominee in the 2008 presidential election that will take place this fall. I am not a republican and I am certainly not a democrat. I used to be an official card carrying member of the Republican Party, however, the rampant corruption, greed and dishonesty in the Republican Party at the national and state level has led me to become an independent. Since joining the Democratic Party is simply is not an option.

When you got too much time

When you got too much time, you can always find stupid stuff to come up with. We have some serious budget short falls in our state, and our Florida Legislators actually think this stuff up and expect it to pass. What a waste of tax dollars.

1. SB 744 Sexual Activities Involving Animals. Florida is one of only 14 states that do not have laws against bestiality, explains Rep. Bill Heller. And that's got his goat.Heller and Sen. Nan Rich, both Democrats, introduced this bill after a widely publicized story about a North Florida man who raped and killed a family goat. Apparently, police arrested the man for killing the goat, but did not add an extra charge for raping it."Anything that harms animals is not frivolous to me," says Heller, who is also the president of the Tampa Bay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.More disturbing than the thought of our North Florida neighbors boning sheep; is that taxpayers paid some Tallahassee lawyer to write the language of this rather long bill that details all the different ways you can have sex with an animal.Hey, I'm all for protecting animals, but when Florida lawmakers can't even figure out how to deal effectively with human sexual predators, I think animals need to take a back seat So to speak.

Racism today, And The double standard..

Racism today, and the double standard between Whites and Blacks. I can only speak from my own experiences on the topic. The vast majority of my friends and family do not dislike Blacks because of the color of their skin; they dislike them because of their actions and attitudes towards whites, and the double standards that are blatantly obvious between the two, and no one wants to address the issue, or are afraid to bring it up.

In my experience it has been at least a decade or more since I have heard anyone that I know call a black man a Nigger. As you can see I am not going to write this as every other White person does today and be politically correct, by saying the N- word. That’s part of the problem also. A word is a words, is a word, it is the context the word is used in that matters. Baxley you are right about Baracks speech on racism it would be a very enlightening dialog if it weren’t swept back under the rug.

Barack the magic negro

I will not voice my opinion on this link at this time; I just wanted to put it on the blog to give others the opportunity to listen, and watch. But it did give me a chuckle

I Gave My Gun A Chance! By winn1955 - Wed, 05/02/2007 - 7:33pm  I found this in the archives and thought it was worth a reprint, plus I enjoyed reading it. Ghostwrter

I gave my gun a chance!

I gave my gun a chance too kill me!  I have heard from so many in the media that we have got to get rid of our guns, because they kill people. I have many guns and I have had them for a long time. I had no idea that my guns would kill me. I believe that I have been rather nice to them. I have always taken care of them; I keep them clean and well oiled. I feed them bullets as needed. I even keep them locked up to keep them safe.

Mysterious Sounds

Mysterious Sounds

Back when I was still in high school, I would hear sounds in my house. It would freak me out whenever I would hear these noises. One day I was home by myself and I was sitting in the living room watching TV and I heard some sounds coming from my room. It sounded as if some one was knocking on my room door from the inside. I went back there to see what it was and there was nothing in my room.

Another time when I was home alone I was watching TV in the living room again and I heard another sound from one of the back rooms. I heard a glass object fall and shatter. I went in all the rooms to investigate there was no shattered glass.

A story to ponder is it real, or fiction

Enforcing the law is hardly racist

Enforcing the law is hardly racist

I am tired of picking up the paper or hearing news reports on TV that brand law-abiding U.S. citizens as racists because we are protesting illegal immigration and demanding that our local, state and federal governments enforce our laws.

So putting race aside, let us call illegal immigrants what they really are: economic terrorists. They come here and depress wages for all law-abiding citizens, especially legal immigrants and the lower class. They crowd our schools and emergency rooms, further taxing law-abiding citizens by virtue of the annual increases in property taxes and other taxes we are required to pay to provide these services. They show up en masse at food pantries and public aid offices for subsidies that again take away from the legal residents of this country and those who have been the most severely depressed from the presence of these law breakers.

The businesses that hire them are economic terrorists as they take advantage of the low wages and ability to shirk the paying of taxes and other benefits, which are then subsidized by us taxpayers in the form of services and subsidies that our taxes provide.

The landlords make millions of dollars per year because they can charge increased rents due to the multiple families sharing one apartment or house, and again, the taxpayers are forced to subsidize heating, electricity and other services.

So why are we branded as racists when all we are asking for is a level playing field and that our laws be equally enforced? Why do we get sneered at and protested against and threatened with boycotts when we demand that our representatives take a stance and say no to amnesty, no to continued importation of poverty and no to ever-increasing tax burdens that are not born equally by all?

Taxpayers wake up and smell the coffee; the future of your country and your children's futures are at stake here, and we need to rise as an economic force in our own right and demand better treatment and equal enforcement of our laws.
