Can my children, grandchildren, and theirs prosper in a nation that has a population growth that will overwhelm the vast natural resources that this country has today? Are you willing to live in a country that has an infrastructure that can not keep pace with the population growth caused by the influx of illegal immigrants?  

Floridians for Immigration Enforcement  Fellow Blogers much of this blog has been C/P, I know many disagree with that, but this issue is too important to be concerned how it got here, the content of the blog is the issue that matters. This blog has been posted; not so much for my fellow blogers, as it is for all that read the blogs on this site who do not participate. It is my intention to keep this blog out front for some time, to give as many readers the opportunity to read the information, and get involved in the political process, as to afford all who concur the opportunity to make a difference in a way that will stabilize the safety, security, and economics of the State of Florida, and our nation. As with millions of Americans, I am shocked by the cost of filling up with gasoline. In Florida, the average cost of gasoline is $3.56 per gallon, a 51% increase from a year ago. A number of factors contribute to the soaring gas prices. Regardless of the reasons, working families are being hit hard by record prices at the pump. The purpose of this newsletter is to try to shed some light on why prices are so high. In addition, I have provided some simple and inexpensive tips on how to reduce the amount of gas your car needs.   Dear Florida friends,  

A small window remains in which to push for immigration reduction bills in the Florida House of Representatives. It is critical to keep debate going in hopes of passing good immigration reduction legislation in that state.  

Five Florida House immigration enforcement bills, HB73, HB159, HB571, HB577 and HB821, have died in committee but there is one option remaining to move the bills. Your help is needed to pressure Speaker of the House Marco Rubio to cause the bills to be heard in the House Government Efficiency & Accountability Council. Unless Speaker Rubio hears from Florida voters and schedules hearings by April 4, 2008 then these good bills will have no chance of enactment this year.  

Hillary hopes you have forgotten. Have you????

Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her "record," which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or "co-president" - and her seven years in the Senate.
 
Here is a reminder of what that record includes:

As First Lady, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care Reform, a process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would "demonize "anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn't even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.)

This insane travesty being placed on us Americans by the liberal do nothing 110th congress. The constitution says we the people, NOT! We the corporations, Two government reports have indicated that a major reason tech employers hire H-1Bs is for cheap labor. As a result, American workers are displaced from high-paying jobs in tech fields. The H-1B visa program plays a major role in the off shoring of high-paying tech jobs as well. Therefore, the H-1B visa program does little to recruit homegrown talent. Rather, it only supplies businesses with cheap foreign labor. House Republican leaders will introduce a petition drive today to force Democrats to debate immigration this year, using a Democrat-sponsored bill to box them into taking a stand on employers who hire illegal immigrants.
