I'm not very good at linking, but wondered if anyone read the article today re: mentally ill man shot by police?

I'm also not going to give an opinion as this issue is very near and dear to my heart, and I'm afraid I would sound off like a raving maniac.  I will say, "shot multiple times"; does this sound right?  Or, is it just me that wonders if that was necessary?  Could they not have tried shooting him in the leg or arm, anything other than mortally wounding him?  Yes, they used tasers which for some reason or another supposedly didn't work.  I sure hope they tell "the rest of the story", and tell it right.

When a person doesn't have insurance and/or prescription drug coverage, the companies mentioned above have come to the resue for a lot of us - especially seniors who have a difficult time making ends meet or young people with children struggling day by day.

I’ve been reading the blogs for sometime now, and have, on occasion, made a comment here and there.  Reading being one of my passions, I enjoy many aspects of MCS blogland.

It’s very interesting reading different opinions on varied subjects.  I get tickled at times with the camaraderie many of you share.  At other times, I become confused because I’m not a very political person in that, try as I might, I don’t always understand the working of political minds.  This doesn’t mean I don’t vote, because I do being lead by my conscience and to the best of my ability in making a decision with the hopes it is the right one.  I’m a true believer in the concept that every vote counts.

Can anyone tell me if it is legal or illegal for a person to buy several homes, in a single home, deed restricted neighborhood, and then rent them as multi-family dwellings?

This is happening in my 'hood; in fact, one of the houses is next door to mine.
