CCAC
I can't help but add a few more comments about CCAC and the recent blogs. I know that many of the bloggers out there are CCAC employees with multiple names. I have to hand it to the person who keeps on coming back with comments about CCAC, like Mr. Michael More. ALL of the stats, incident reports, records, files, investigations he has given you are true. I think we are losing track of the real issues here. He is working to try and make the public informed as to what is going on out there at CCAC, he obviously is an animal lover and is trying to make life better for them here in Clay Co. All of the info he has posted is PUBLIC RECORD, you all can go and get it if you'd like. You can obtain written copies of it all, so go and do so, get personnel files, investigative reports, audits, incident reports, copies of emails from the public get it all and then form your opinions. CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
What we really have here are several clay county animal control employees mad at someone who is putting their jobs in jepordy. What we really have here is a citizen that was falsely accused and a deputy who was falsely accused, and the lies are still flying. The citizen and the deputy did the right thing. The deputy is guilty only of doing a good job to protect the animals and the citizen was told he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The deputy was cleared by an internal investigation, documents are available to the public, and the citizen has filed a law suit, and I can't blame him, and has also offered to take a polygraph. CCAC employees are lying to protect their cusshy jobs, that they have had for years. They have done this before and will do it again to innocent people, they just don't seem to care about what is right. I like many other citizens out there hope that the truth does come out and if need be they are replaced with a caring, efficent staff. CCAC employees just want to keep the false accusations out there, the want to cloud the real problems at CCAC with these false accusations that is how they get rid of people that cause them a problem or that they preceive as a possible threat to their jobs. They are not truthful. MY CLAY SUN, you have this blog out there and you need to tell the other side of the story not just a story from CCAC's side. Who know's what these CCAC employees will say next, their jobs are on the line and they are desperate. Citizens do a little research and I am sure you will find out the truth. I have taken alot of time, spoken to alot of people and have alot of public documents that will prove my side. Related: 1 comment
Clay County Animal Control
Sorry, fellow citizens, after reading some of the blogs the last few days I just had to add something. First of all I have to send a big HURRAH!!! out to Angela and Mike and anyone else trying to stick to the issues. I think we all know 3 of the bloggers are CCAC employees. I guess when your backs are against the wall you come out screaming. We all know what the real issues are. Some of the Bloggers are getting too personal and calling names. The real issues are being investigated and I am sure they, meaning CCAC employees are very worried about now, for their jobs, and they should be from what I have seen.
CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
Hi Clay County Citizens, Have you read the Fl Times Union today, I have, I am very discouraged to say we are still only hearing one side of the story. I am sure this was an arranged meeting with clay county employees, submitting the same clay county reports with clay county employees statements given once again. Please DANA TREEN of the FL TIMES UNION, reach out and talk to citizens involved in this situation hear their side of this, dare I say, hear the truth. There are many citizens out here just waiting to tell you of their experiences with CCAC and what they have seen.
CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL IS OUT OF CONTROL
I just needed to put out some information that just happened today. A rescuer who went to Clay County Animal Control to rescue found 8 cats in one cage and two of them dead. BREAKS MY HEART. CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL IS OUT OF CONTROL. WORD HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME THAT MOST OF THE TIME EMPLOYEES ARE EITHER ON BREAK, SMOKING, HAVING COFFEE, EVEN CAUGHT SLEEPING ON THE JOB. SO PLEASE DON'T GIVE US THE NORMAL EXCUSE OF NO TIME NO MONEY OR POOR POOR US IT'S SUCH A HARD JOB, QUIT AND FIND ANOTHER GET SOMEONE IN THERE WHO CAN DO THE JOB AND WILL CARE I HAVE VISITED MANY FACILITIES ACROSS THIS STATE AND NONE RUN AS BAD AS THIS ONE, IN FACT MOST ARE RUN QUITE WELL WITH PERSONNEL WHO CARE, MY GOD WHERE DID THEY FIND THOSE PEOPLE, SEND US SOME.. YOU GET PAID WELL TO DO A JOB NOW JUST DO IT. STOP THE VENDICTIVE BEHAVIOR, RESCUE, ADOPT AND REUNITE. REMEMBER YOUR OWN POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. IN ADDITION TO THE POOR DEAD PETS THE RESCUER WAS TOLD THAT CCAC WAS NOT GOING TO WORK WITH ANY RESCUERS ANY MORE, IT WAS TOO CONFUSING FOR THEM AND JUST TOO MUCH TROUBLE, EASIER JUST TO KILL.
CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
I just wanted to pass on a little more important and accurate information to all of the CLAY COUNTY CONCERNED CITIZENS. Connie Goon, Director of Animal Control was found to have altered county documents after the fact in order to have a clay county officer found guilty of misconduct and to discredit this officer, which by the way is the same officer who reported the original 52 farm animal case, where clay county employees took these animals for their own personal use/distribution/gain. This is not a coincidence. This officer was doing their job, and has been persecuted for it, unfairly might I add, by people who are only protecting their cusshy jobs.
Clay County Animal Control
Citizens of Clay County I know you want the truth just as I do. Once again I have taken the time to investigate and read the report from "OFFICE OF THE SHERIFF" Clay County, FL dated 2/5/08, 15 pages long. As a result of a long investigation and a great job on the part of the Clay County Sheriff's Office the conclusion of the report was very clear and it was, if you read the document, Connie Goon, Director of Animal Control Alterered County Documents to make the investigating officer appear to be guilty of misconduct. The Director of Animal Control was the only one found to have done anything wrong in the report, she altered county documents after the fact.
CLAY COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
Hi Everyone! I just wanted to add to my Blog of yesterday to correct a misspelling. In the First Paragraph I meant to say inconsistent policies, yes thats correct. as I said before have taken the time to do some research, please I ask all of you to do the same. I have reviewed policies and procedures and ordinances pertaining to CCAC. I have attended meetings, I have spoken to people who have been effected by the wrath of CCAC, yes I think you should all do the same. The lights will come on I promise you. We as citizens of clay co. like myself have no reason to condemn an agency if it is doing a good job or even an okay job, if it showed some concern about it's short comings and tried to do better, no but not CCAC. They seem to be good at putting on a happy face for the media. Anyone can say anything, but the truth thats what we want. Some employees of CCAC can say the right thing at the right time and make you think they are really trying. I would hope a good reporter would see thru that and report both sides of a story. CLAY SUN DO YOUR JOB TALK TO THE ONES AFFECTED BY THE WRATH OF CCAC. GET THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY AND PRINT IT AS THEY SAY IT. Please don't print another goody two shoes side of CCAC when so many of us out there know it's just not so. I have spoken to people who have gone to adopt and reported back with treatment so bad from the employees there, they were insulted and did not want to go back. Some poeple that wanted to adopt have been brought to tears. Some people waiting in an office at CCAC waiting to adopt a particular companion pet have been told that pet was euthanized while they waited. Some Employees of CCAC have even spoken up about the problems at CCAC, mismanagement, inconsistent policies, such as policies changing from one day to the next, poor treatment. Some say if you don't go along with the controlling management oh well you are an outcast. Sounds like someone has made it into their own little kingdom, in complete control, or so they think, hiding the truth with false statements, and having people going away believing some of their tales, this always catches up with you. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME CLAY COUNTY TO DO SOME RESEARCH,if you review the policies and procedures and even CCAC web page you will see so many inconsistencies. CCAC says they will work with the community and some of their first priorities are to have the animals adopted or reunited with their humans. Their policies also allow for vet treatment up to a certain $ figure, this is not done. These poor animals are being mistreated by not giving them the proper care when in a facility that is supposed to do so. NO IT IS NOT THERE JUST FOR DESEASE CONTROL READ YOUR OWN POLICIES. LETS GET IT RIGHT CLAY COUNTY GET SOMEONE IN THERE THAT WILL DO THE JOB. TALK TO YOUR COMMISSIONERS GO TO CLAY COUNTY GOV.COM AND VOICE YOUR OPINION TO THEM. PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING. THESE COMPANION ANIMALS DEPEND ON HUMANS FOR THEIR CARE SHOW THAT CLAY COUNTY CARES.
Clay County Animal Control
This is my first time on this Blog, but I had to speak up. It is clear from the article in the Clay Sun that they are being very prejudice. After much research and speaking to people involved and the general public I know this story is not correct. First of all alot of the high turn over in employees is not all due to having to deal with the animals but poor management, not giving proper direction and not having consistent policies. The general public is treated poorly when trying to adopt from CCAC, they are insulted and generally treated badly, making them not wanting to return. CCAC needs to have eduction in dealing with the public. The kennels are filthy and the animals are not seen by a vet. They haven't had a vet at CCAC in years. The employees need to do their jobs and not pay so much attention in keeping the public out of a public facility. If you say or do something that does not quite sit right with them all of a sudden you are bombared with false allegagtions and accused of things you did not do and they ( the employees)will swear to it. After all it has been protecting them for years, if you give the general public a hard enough time they tend to just go away, they do not even care what they say or who they say it about, lies don't matter to them. They just want to protect their quite well paid jobs until retirement, and what about those fringe benefits. Sometimes you can be in a job just too long you tend to think the facility is yours and treat it as such. But CCAC this facility belongs to the people of Clay County who are becoming more and more aware of how badly it is being managed. The animals deserve a chance at life, do your job, Network to organizagtions who can save animals lives on a daily basis, there are so many out there, and don't insult me by saying not so, shame on you CCAC for not having someone in charge of just a good adoption program, networking to rescue groups, special needs groups and service needs groups and special breeds rescue, I mean of course someone who will do the job not just a title, anyone can have a title. They should not have to beg you and contract you to rescue animals you should be actively seeking them out, they are always ready to help but you need to work at it a little, the animals are well worth it, contact them let them know what you have available. Earn your salaries or quit. |
